Ubuntu, as of  Ubuntu 18.04.3 LTS, users can now just:

... from a shell to install dependencies, get the current source, compile, install, and run an EverGreenCoin Core or Daemon, depending on their choice of GUI or CLI when prompted.

EDIT: It should work fine for prior versions of Ubuntu and other flavors of Linux too. The mentioned version, the most recent LTS, was just the version I was working with to fully test vanilla installs. Sorry this was not made sooner, I'd been meaning to for a long time.

Hope everyone is doing well and collecting some EGC from PoE and markets to set up their own node to stake for charity while prices are still as low as they are. I know Decembers PoE gave away over 10K coins and went well, looking forward to January's submissions.

Fedora users can now just...

... from a terminal to install dependencies, download the current source code, compile, install, and run an EverGreenCoin CLI (daemon) or GUI (core qt) wallet, depending on their choice of 'C' or 'G'. This has been tested thoroughly on Fedora Workstation 31 and Fedora Server 31, though Fedora Server does need a desktop environment installed for the GUI wallet to launch successfully for you. But it will build the Qt binary regardless, if you choose for it to be built, though you most-likely want a CLI in that configuration.
