Something special about september 5th? I thought the date sounded familiar, so I checked. It was the day the RAF started to massacre olympic athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympic Games. |

Great concept of paying people dividends as gas, i missed out on this ICO, made great investments in Civic, aragon, humaniq, iconomi. Now i am having eyes on Autonio ico, easy to use decentralized trading application with inbuilt currency as nio tokens, which has a prototype of one module for preview in their website, when they deliver the promise, it can be billion dollar marketcap.

And the PoS etherum will use next year is not working the way that all rich guys become more rich. Its a bit smarter conception then that failed PoS with master node which eth could use in 1 week bc its no work to implement. Let u suprise next year dudes.

It seems Neo team s going to Korea mid next month. If this means Neo being added to Bithumb, this is going to push the price up big time. The trip is confirmed, no more details about it ATM.

Well I don't know what's happening on September 5th, but on September 10th the Red Pulse Token (RPX) ICO is starting and it is only accepting NEO; this will mean that those wishing to participate in the ICO will either have to already have NEO and/or, and this is more likely, will have to buy NEO to participate in the ICO. This will result in a boost in the price of NEO as everyone rushes to buy NEO for the RPX ICO, and as NEO is in a bit of a dip at the moment this is a great time to buy - I've stocked up on some more for the RPX ICO. Hi guys
I got a problem. Today i bought 5 neo coins on Bittrex. I downloaded web client from Neo website, installed it and created new wallet.
I saved private key and public adress as well. So when i opened the neo wallet and put in the private key i got into my wallet, but what i noticed was that public adress on the top appeared to be different then i got with private key when i was creating the new wallet. So i saved it as well. I sent 5 neo coins to that adress. Everything was great. I got my coins. I turned of my computer and went to work.
When i got back home, i launched the wallet and what happend. Adress on the top was different (actually it was the adress i got with my private key) so no coins.
Did anyone experienced this? I got no idea why i saw different adress after first launch. I wrote an email to neo team, but dont know if they can help.
Maybe some rookie mistake, but have no idea what could go wrong. so pissed right now.

It's all because the idea of using a private key (instead of a secure and secure password) for access your account is a very bad decision on the part of developers.. I immediately refused to use such a wallet as soon I saw this system. But if you still bought NEO then you better keep the coins on Bittrex. |

It's all because the idea of using a private key (instead of a secure and secure password) for access your account is a very bad decision on the part of developers.. I did not get what you mean. Sorry i am a beginner, but how is it possible, that public adress in my wallet has changed if i am using one private key? I think that is a glitch. I have read today few posts on reddit where people are describing same issue. |

I would always run an anti-virus program (such as Avast) and anti-malware programs (such as MalwareBytes and HitmanPro) before sending any funds to your computer as it is difficult to ascertain how safe one's computer is otherwise. I do not have any experience with any wallets that use a private key to login as I prefer higher security levels and desktop wallets for example take much longer to use, but offer far greater security. Then again, I also prefer to create one and only one wallet address and never more than that. Creating multiple ones has created issues for some when they did not realise that each has its own private key. You might be able to ask CoZ developers at the NEO Reddit for help. At times however the CoZ developers did identify user mistakes and in some cases similar messages were posted by scammers who attempted to get free cash from the NEO team (but those scammer attempts all failed). Alternatively you might possibly in the future be able to reclaim funds. I assume NEO will have some mechanisms in place in the future associated with transparency and thus it is my assumption (and my assumption alone) that there might be ways in the future to regain access to one's personal wallet in case access has been lost, but that likely would be two years away at a minimum. |
