Is anyone using the default electroneum miner for linux? what is the hashrate you're getting? i assume it's using the cpu?

Sadly, yes. Without any further difficulty increase i could mine my whole investment for just like 36€ (electricity that is). Thats very roughly 0.04% of what i had to pay during the ico. Kinda disappointing eh.

very new to cryptocurrency. Question for experts here, i see that they will be applying in 9 exchanges as mentioned in FB post. Are there plans to apply at coinbase in future ?

I have some cryptocurrency in coinbase account, and am assuming i can transfer it to the exchanges ETN will be listed in to buy more ETN. What do experts recommend to be a good exchange, was thinking of opening account in Poloniex.

Coinbase is not a "normal exchange"...so i dont think we will see electronum there soon..
Coinbase is not generally used for daily exchange....it is more used a gate to the crypto world...
you buy there bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin with fiat, and then do to exchanges to trade

Their official electroneum miner is not working as well I have mined for hours but my share and hashrate is still blank so many bugs I don't know but I see too many people getting frustrated on day one they should fix their own miner now only the large mining pool will have the advantage

You don't actually mine with mobile, just s simulation. Real mining is done with pc. And about difficulty that will correct it self over time when more miners join.

Yeah thats real shit. I can mine my investment in ICO (~ 300$) in just two days with my computer using ~ 10$ in electricity cost ..
Shitty investment. I'm never gonna get out my money ever aggain ..
If I would have known that they use Cryptonote I would have never participated in ICO ..

TBF how things run when everything has reached an equalibrium is going to determine if it works or not, short of catastrophic failure the first couple of hours of gold rush have little bearing on this (or any) coins future its just par for the course.
