to those who are mad at the miners, think of it this way, a mining rig usually cost around $3000 per rig, miners invested in these machine to mine coins so why hate them? hate them because you can't mine like they can? then go on buy yourself a mining rig, hate them because you didn't get to mine the moment the blockchain goes live? then its your fault.

If you invested in this ICO thinking "oh I will be a millionaire the moment the blockchain goes live" then you're dreaming sir. Investing is like gambling, you need to play your hands properly and prepare to lose what you invested.

I personally got a few thousand coins by simply mining, as I missed the ICO. Sold those earlier today already, and I plan to buy again as soon as prices dump a lot when investors receive their coins. Then, I'm gonna hold on to this coin for a veeeeery long time. Reading all these comments of greedy I-want-to-be-rich-overnight-investors, it seems as if my strategy might prove to be better than that of those who invested a lot of money and dump their coins.

When Poloniex and Bittrex add ETN they look to see if it has a real development team and real chain. Because if not, if it was a Ether coin, when Ether dies etc. Then the ERC20 coin does.

How do you think NXT and ARDR are listed on the Big 3, its because of a unique real blockchain!

If you want go invest all in on FLiK, its an ERC20 token. ERC20 is for scam coins who dont have the knowledge to make a real blockchain with real mining.

Agreed but BTC has a max supply of about 21,000,000 whereas ETN is ridiculous. The mining in and of itself is not a problem but the flood of free coins which drives demand down, and in this case will keep it there for a long time. If I mined 50k of these within last 2 days i would be dumping as we speak. Miners just taking advantage of a flawed AND horrible ICO.

For people who mined to the wallet address and its showing 0 balance this is what you have to do to recover your coins .. this is a modified verson of the monero help file adjusted for electroneum

Retrieve your 25 word mnemonic seed that you saved when creating your electroneum wallet

Open a command prompt (windows ctrl+r ) and navigate to the drive and directory that contains electroneum-wallet-cli ( on the command line type "cd desktop\win-x64-0.11.0.0" or where ever you have it located and no "

At the command prompt type: electroneum-wallet-cli --restore-deterministic-wallet

Once you press enter you will be prompted for a wallet file name. Give your wallet a new name, any name will do

Press enter again and you will be prompted for a password. Give your wallet a new and long password

Press enter again you will be prompted to repeat the password

Press enter again and you will be prompted for the 25 word electrum style mnemonic seed that you retrieved earlier

You will then be prompted with "Restore from specific blockchain height (optional, default 0):" Default will start the restore process from the beginning of the electroneum blockchain. If you don't know the specific blockchain height, just hit enter. (Specifying a specific blockchain height will start the restore process from that specific height. This will save a bit of time in scanning, if you know what starting blockchain height your initial funds were transacted for this specific account.)

After you have entered the 25 word mnemonic seed and have chosen your specific blockchain height, electroneum-wallet-cli will generate the same public address and view key as your old wallet and begin the refresh process automatically. (Please be patient as the refresh process may take a while.)

You miners need to be patient. You will never be able to mine hundreds of coins within the first few hours the ETN Blockchain went live.

You should be happy mining small amounts now on your phone and PC. By the end of the year each ETN WILL be at $1.00.

So even if you can mine 10 coins a day total that is $300 profit per month. Use others computers and you can make $1000 plus per day depending on how tech savy you are and you internet electricity bill.

If i was a miner, i would dump too before the price drop too much and get more BTC. Congrats to the first miners. But they didn't help transfer the ICO coins as the coins are blocked.
I don't understand why it was so easy to mine and the difficulty so low. But good for the first timers. It is not easy to find a coin to mine and get lots of profit. They were lucky.

That was before when they expected around 10k users. Not over 300k. There is not enough coins for the mining app pool. Those coins will be necessary! So many noobs and FUD in here lol. Leaving until you all find something else to move on to. Wow.
