I hope Electroneum will be trend maker by seeing appreciation in its value after hitting exchanges. Because recently added coins/tokens at trading platforms saw depreciation at start. I wonder what the big exchanges will be among those on the list of opening trading on 1st of November in three days.

Which has the most volume? Which one of these would you guys suggest using? The ones that i personally like are Yobit(GUI is not the best. But it has no withdrawal limit, so i like it for this fact) Cryptopia(I like very much their GUI, but they have a 3500$(more or less) a day withdrawal limit, which is not that bad) Poloniex(one of my favourite, great gui, but only 2000$ a day withdrawal limit, not very good).But Poloniex is my first love  , So is special for me Bittrex( i dont like it very much, also now that want you to send ID, which i really don't like) Also there is another one that i personally like : Coinexchange( good GUI, no withdrawal limit) You shouldn't forget that those exchanges which require the most information about you are also the most secure exchanges because there is a lot of legal oversight ensuring they can't run away with your money. Tell that to mtgox and btc-e  however as i said i dont like to give my id everywhere....just a personal preference The two exchanges you mentioned are exactly the kind of exchanges I hate. And it is what I said. Neither mt.gox nor btc-e have gone through all the verification and certification processes that other exchanges like Bittrex and Poloniex had to undergo by now. Got and BTC-E are gone, Polo and Bittrex are not. I also don't like to give my id everywhere, but for now I am willing to do it if I know there is some benefit to it. We are still a bit away from fully decentralized exchanges. |

It went from $.02 to $.21 in 5 hours!!! 4 million sold. It is horrible all those people lost their money, but it did show us that the market was willing to pay 21 cents in the beginning HOURS!! |

That is a really good point, I never thought about it this way. Also whoever bought into the scam must be people with very little knowledge about crypto, as really everyone knows EtherDelta only trades ERC20 tokens. So when the real ETN is in exchanges it will attract those newbies as well as crypto-aware investors! |

Well forking Bytecoin was plain stupid. And at moment that was announced I said it in this thread. Just check first pages. ""Maintenance and future proofing. Monero is WAYYYYYYYY more developed and maintained than Bytecoin. Bytecoin has had 88 commits to it’s core code since 2014. Monero has had 4795 commits!"" But people still showered this genius with $40 millions. |

This is indeed another big move by Electroneum team by giving preference to Monero over Bytecoin. Monero's code is tested and reliable for years. This shifting will have its own strategical and economical effects on the project as whole. I expect juts good thing happening ahead now. They are playing very wisely and timely with decisions.

My friend, you must know by now that the price of a coin is not only related to the technical superiority, if that was the case, Bitcoin wouldn't be number one right now, not even top 10, with it's horribly slow transactions and crazy high fees. The price of the coin is directly proportional to how many people know about it, plain and simple. And by combining the tried-and-tested Monero code base with high publicity, we've got a winner imo. |
