Yes, the binaries are broken for two distributions that I tried it, Ubuntu 16.04 and Debian Stretch. You have to compile for your own, then it will work, at least on my Ubuntu 16.04 install. This has been mentionend by me several times, maybe you search for the posts within this thread.

what do you mean by pc windows mining? I've been mining for 5 hours using cpu and gpu.

I can confirm that I mined with the 'beginners' windows miner this morning and submitted about 21 shares before it stopped working.

I also started 'direct/solo' mining (on windows) which is still running and reporting hashrates, though no blocks solved yet.

I think you guys really need to calm down , I was on Telegram group yesterday when the blockchain live , The amount of spam deva team received on the channel alone is huge , They could have muted the channel but they refused and they just banned the spammers ( a lot of work ) , If i was in there place I would have insta muted the whole channel .
