Same happens in pre/post monthly, my rank has a maximum amount of 20-30$ for Platinum III (If not wrong). The question is almost same with these wagering host, how many wagering number we need to claim the full maximum amount for pre-post monthly for each rank. ~xd

I think it is reasonable to have such requirements to maintain the VIP host. The bonus (reload) from VIP host completely depends on the wager and PnL amount. Stake has a big number of active users now. Their marketing team has considered such requirement as normal thing. Wagering $50k within 90 days isn't a big deal. I think we've discussed this many times and received different answers. Some say it still depends on whether the user is active and wagering, while others say it depends on the current VIP rank, even without playing—you will still get default post/pre monthly bonus. I have experienced both situations. Sometimes, even when I'm not playing (wagering) or making any deposits, I can still get $10 or sometimes $1 for Platinum 1. The 3x is only for the VIP process though, it has nothing to do with wager or any other thing. Meaning if you wager 1000$ on sports these exact 1000$ will be in your weekly/monthly wager calculation, not more.
The system is a bit flawed in my eyes but other sites basically make the same approach and count sports betting slightly higher towards VIP level process.

Never thought about it in this way. But I have observed that at least $3k to $5k wager is required to get the normal amount from the pre or post monthly bonus. The bonus amount will be decreased in the upcoming months if a platinum ranked user wagering activity stays between $3k to $6k for a few months. BTW, if Eddie has really planned another monthly bonus for us then we should receive it tomorrow.

Currently the formula used is that each VIP level must be actively playing or have a wagering history to get a normal bonus, I have a friend with Platinum 2 he was inactive for a few months and his bonus was only $5-6 whereas normally he can earn around $15-20 I personally still actively play every week around $3-4k and i still get the normal bonus that's why I assume the minimum wager is $4k yeah as i said before this is just a personal assumption.

Right now on reddit there are countless threads with people leaving stake because they feel treated very bad with this recent trolling and teasing a 2nd monthly on twitter and obviously their frustration has merit. On stake forum the outcry is even bigger tbh.

If you don't want to give the 2nd monthly, don't mention it. I don't know what the twitter rep is trying to achieve with this. A bug site like this really should not do something like that.

Such a nice site in some aspects but marketing and so on is clearly not their strong suit.

These bonus is not for everyone, I believe how the distribution of these bonus is based of your betting activity account. If your account more often betting in Sportsbet, there has some chance you can get a bonus. Meanwhile player slot/casino, zero chance even my self never get any bonus with the topic of "Sportbet" bonus. Cause, I never get any bonus for Sportbet since the beginning of my account.

Actually this time was one time too many and the outcry about the twitter teasing (trolling) is so big that many players have sworn to leave stake now. Even some other casino sites made fun of how stake handled this situation and well, they are not wrong.
You can be upfront and just say, "sorry, not this year" . But all the memes and replies on twitter of course fuel expectations and when you then not follow up with something good it's basically the worst possible thing you can do. Other sites have good promos as well and they will be happy to rebound what stake will be losing in players because of this behavior.
I also set my weekly wager/loss limit to 0.01$ for the moment since I also don't appreciate such troll tactics. This way I cannot play but still collect my rewards.

Ah yes, I mixed my thoughts on the VIP level process to the total rakeback since the conversation is mixed VIP level and the required wager to get the VIP bonus.

But it will be awesome if they will count the wager x3 in general for sports betting not only for VIP level up since Stake focus much on sportsbook games. A X3 wager count on sportsbook is awesome feature for user like me that is just rarely placing bets.

Good choice, I think I also using your way to reduce playing on there. At least, I have a good bonus on other casinos (BK8) from Deposit + Waggering:

Seems so. There is a very little chance to get the 2nd monthly bonus tomorrow. Then we shouldn't expect anything like that if they don't give it tomorrow. IMO, they starting to cut or not continue some sponsorship and not really think to add more in the next few years. Trying to save the budget and looking profit from few years spending, in case you are talking about marketing cause some streamers are moving from another casino to stake. They already starting streaming with another casino, meaning the deal/sponsorship is not being continued.

These kind of high numbers of wager only happened occasionally, so sometimes I also got the top vip bonus here and there, but not often.
