I did bet for Trump and when I did that the odds was around 2.00 ish something. But these odds are set to change as we approach the election day.

Hard to tell. I am also following this on reddit where many people asked this question. I
Many of them are scared to verify their account now but they want the bonus, haha. In the past old accounts of users that are "now" a restricted region were not impacted. My account is also verified since forever, with a German address (while Germany is banned now) and I never had any trouble. Since I live in Japan anyway even of trouble comes up I can just change the address if needed, confirmed that with my host.

If I was you I would maybe wait a bit longer until some people share their experience of what happened when they verified with an ID from a banned region.
I mean if you use an US passport it doesn't necessarily mean you you live in the USA, right. Important is the residency, not the Nationality.

Stake is still a business like any other business out there, and it's very important to respect their terms of service to avoid loses and any potential embarrassment that may follow suit as a result.

The casino made known their list of countries that are restricted from using their casino for a reason, and there is also a warning when you are visiting the site from a restricted country without the use of VPN, all this should tell you that there is a heavy punishment for you if you ignore all of this and still go ahead to play from a restricted place.
Your account Wil not only be banned, but also, the funds on that account will be confiscated as well.

Provably it will end up your account will get suspended/banned.

But care to read their TOS here. https://stake.com/policies/terms  It has clear explanation on what will happen if you violate their rules and doing those things what you said is against your TOS so if people know that they are from banned or restriction countries they should not gamble or stake or any other casino.

You have to take one thing in consideration. Many players, such as me and countless others, created their accounts several years ago. When I created my account Germany was NOT on the list of banned regions, now it is. I even asked my host if I should officially change my address at stake, since I am not living in Germany anymore, and she said no need to for now.

So just stating the rules is wrong in this case. I am a German customer and never had any problems at stake, even after they added Germany to the banned regions.
And there are thousands of cases like me. Almost everybody in the German chat at stake are Germans living in Germany. Are they all violating the rules and live in fear of confiscated funds and account closure? Even Eddie often shouts out the "German community at stake"on the weekend stream.

I honestly believe stake maybe should make a statement about "legendary stake accounts" that existed over years and now operate in a kind of grey area.

In your case, the ToS might be use against you in the future. Let’s say that they are not strict today on implementing their rules against restricted country like @ahoybrause case but there’s no guarantee that they will keep like that forever since they always have the right to modify their ToS and implement it.

On the case of user above, he is not currently residing on the restricted country so he can have different ID stating different address in case Stake tighten their implementation so this will be a big issue if you caught off guard while you are living from restricted country.

Much better to play safe and play only in the casino that doesn’t restrict your country.

How's your Week going so far with Stake?

This time I have some good experience playing slot and bet for some sports. I play three slot from different provider. Cause even the user register before "Germany" is not in the restriction at the time he register, by clicking accepted again the new T&C meaning the user accepted the new term & condition + If the his country in restricted country then he should be not playing on there cause accepted the new term makes his old term at the time he was register is no longer valids. So, my opinion (If you germany user) and not having a problem right now or money in Stake better move on now before you meet the problem.

Definitely the odds for the major contestant will continue to change as the election day draw near, although even at that, I haven't take the thought of ever betting on the US election and even though it is listed on stake which ordinarily could have made it easy for me to stake a bet on the candidate I think will win, but still on that we should be careful while predicting an election that is as big as the US election because alot of factors could possibly work to limit your chances of winning at all, so for that having to rush to choose your winning candidate may not be the best gambling strategy unless you are just betting based on your support for your favourite candidate in the election.

Trump has mostly been the Underdog on Stake, I bet on him while he was the underdog while odds were still 2.1...
Its been going back and forth every couple of days, excited to see how odds swing closer to election.

Yeah, I was also following the odds on Stake, and I do agree, it's like crazy swing odds, sometimes you will see that Trump is ahead, then after the debate, Kamala Harris do get the lead and then Trump will have a big surge and then Kamala bouncing back.

Always better to leave threads out of the conversation in a thread like this, it never ends well I think. By the way, about the election. Today there have been emails sent by stake about betting on the election. Some users on reddit wrote these emails had a bonus in them and others didn't. Unfortunately I also didn't have a bonus inside but maybe some here do, you should check.

Didn't have anything in my email and never received a bonus from sports or some sports and I have bet on all kind of sports there, from soccer to Formula 1 in a consistent way.
