You're not the only one. Yes it's the same bitcoins and many of us could be a millionaire. It's a lot like the stock market. If we all invested in Apple / Google / Microsoft 10 / 15 years ago, we would all be millionaires. No one knew bitcoin would be this successful.

People who are cynical and skeptical by nature tend to miss out on opportunities to make a fortune when they present themselves. This is because of a tendency to dismiss these opportunities too quickly instead of taking a bit of tine evaluating them.

Please forgive my cynicism.
I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!
I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500
Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?
Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.
I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?
You gotta see I'm sceptical.
Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?
Many bitcoin holders in the past did the same as you did many of them go far than that to see bitcoin like some kind of jokes or it is created for fun only no one imagine what system reach by now to be first secure money transfer system around the world . |

Thats right, when opportunity first appear people are hesitant to join first. When it become successful later, they regrets. They did not see the potential before, that definitely, it will make you millionaire in the future.There are people changed there lives with bitcoin. |

This is really the regret by many if just holding bitcoin since until now we can be rich then. But the reason was we actually cant figure out the future of bitcoin and whats the value after many years. No one would knows the story of bitcoin behind it. Instead lets move forward ahead and not too late to invest. |

Why not believe what he said? There are so many people who passed up on bitcoin that it isn't so unbelievable. Now OP needs to think if it can happen again and if he wants to invest now or maybe has this story repeat. |

Real or Lie? then op did really miss that one on becoming a millionaire and i know what it feels man and you would really got frustrated on not buying those coins wayback before but just moved on and its not really too late to buy bitcoins as of now even its quiet expensive already but we can still buy on smaller parts. Price would still really have the chance to increase even more.

Why not believe what he said? There are so many people who passed up on bitcoin that it isn't so unbelievable. Now OP needs to think if it can happen again and if he wants to invest now or maybe has this story repeat. I wouldn't Believe what he is saying. He doesn't even k ow what is going on so why believe him ? How can you be so foolish you can't use you see that bitcoin is worth 2500 pounds but still must ask again just to make sure. That's like asking if the time on your watch is right and making a post about that. |

Who doesn't want to be a millionare, everyone dreams about it but this is not that easy. If you have few Bitcoins now that doesn't mean that you will be millionare in the future because you have to know that the price will not just going up, there will be also dumps and negative influences on the market. Even if you take all opportunities you get there is no guarantee you will be rich.

Yes is the same bitcoin you where offered back then 7 years ago, but you should also know that time has changed. The question is would you have been able to hold on till this time before selling off your bitcoin or you could have choose to sell it when it was some hundred above what you buy them. And my advice is start now to invest if not in the next 7 years you will still regret the same. |

The only real mistake you made was thinking pounds are more valuable than bitcoin. If you want to use bitcoin then cut the cord and use them. Don't sell them for lesser money, spend them and get the full value out of them. I think we can now say that Bitcoin is here to stay. You no longer need pound sterling.

 You didn't need to cash out, we sell our coins high and buy back lower and we keep a little something from the trade, you never sell all the coins. The purpose of bitcoin is precisely not to have the necessity of 'money in the bank'. BTW, the meme above is very old. |

I believe it. Having 200 bitcoins and then just remembering you had them by now knowing that you are basically a millionaire. But are you really? Yes and no, depending on who you ask. And should you sell? I say no, not yet. Do research into other crypto projects and invest in them to greater those bitcoins. You have a lot, and could manipulate a market that's low, P&D or out right invest into multiple markets that you believe could serve good for this world. Or you can cash out, buy a mansion, exotic car, and all the woman you want  |

Simple answer to your question is yes you just missed the chance to be a millonaire in just 7 years. You lost 200 euro in ponzi and missed this golden opportunity but if you don't want to miss another chance to become millionaire within next few decades, than start investing in other altcoin along with bitcoin. Good luck, we all are investing in crypto to become millionaire in few decade.  |
