You were really unlucky. You had lost a chance of becoming a billionaire. But do not worry crypto world is in its early stages and will be huge in the next few years. You need to be calm now and think about the future in a correct way unlike you did in the past.It is the better time to invest if you have. You still have a chance to become billionaire. So don't cry.Yes you could bank the same bitcoins which you were offered 7 years ago if you have.

Please forgive my cynicism.
I was offered bitcoins in I think 2010 when they were 50p each.
I was tempted to buy £200 worth but had been just lost £200 to a ponzi money scheme so decided against it!

I have seem recent reports saying they are now worth £2,500

Are these the same Bitcoins?
So would I be able to actually sell for cash or money in the bank?

Sorry to ask, but I see lots of people saying they are millionaires but don't think I have seen anyone with the actual money banked.

I mean, my 400 bitcoins would now be worth £1,000,000 and I could actually sell them for £1Million less commissions?

You gotta see I'm sceptical.
Please tell me I haven't made the biggest mistake of my life?
Yes. You've just made the biggest mistake of your life. You've had the chance to become a millionaire but you just threw it away disregarding the possibilities it may give you with your life. You might have ended up being one of those lucky people who has attained such great amount of bitcoin but just because of temptation you've lost it. Being smart and wise in bitcoin is really important because it is the thing that either brings you to great rewards or great troubles.

you can't hope that you will become millionaire. But you have to work hard & give time so much.
That is very true! Reminds me of a quote,
"If you will spend too much time thinking about a thing, you will never get it done. Make at least one definite move daily towards your goal." -Bruce Lee-
For being a successful person with the help of bitcoins, hard work and daily progress is a must.

I agree with your quote. With the help of bitcoin anything can turn to possible. But you need to be also a wise spender. Many us here are just spending bitcoin or fiat that came from bitcoin to just non sense things.
We should learn how to be thrifty, appreciate the value of bitcoin before you regret it later on. So in able to get rich is not just hard work and time but to value what you reap.

Bitcoin will simply be a tool, but it would all depend on the owner and user.

I also agree that bitcoin will help but one would have to be a wise spender. Bitcoin can give you millions but if make ill financial decisions then you will never be rich. It's not all about being thrifty, you should invest wisely and allocate your budget wisely so that you may attain millions. To become a billionaire, it doesn't happen overnight even with Bitcoin. It should be a habit and lifestyle.

Yes of course it could possible happen that you could become a millionaire in bitcoin, believe and claim it , you could be. But of course  it all depends upon the action you make to make it come true. And also, its all depend upon your own unique strategy, depends on how you worked for it. And its true that what your action will reflect of who you become tomorrow.

I think you have miss a golden opportunity of becoming a millionaire.Thank God you are now in a forum like bitcointalk where you will be educated on how to invest or even participate in bounty  campaign that will give you access to other cryptocurrencies you can exchange to bitcoin, you are still on the right track of becoming millionaire with bitcoin. Bitcoin can not only make you a millionaire but wealth more than that.

Yea bruh, no shit. A lot of people became rich by just holding bitcoin, I remember a story that I came across few months ago, saying that a guy paid some 5-10 bitcoin for buying something from a restaurant. And when the price peaked, he regretted his decision. There are now so many people who think that if they hold bitcoin for some years they will also get rich, but they don't see that, this is not how things are supposed to work. Pump and dump has been causing a lot of problems and this will happen in the future as well which I am afraid of.

I can't call it a mistake, maybe an "unperfect timing"? Year 2010 no one knows that bitcoin will raise in such a short period of time. Don't worry, it's not yet the end of the bitcoin. You can still be a millionaire. Don't hesitate to do now the thing you've missed before.

Yep its the same alright. Didn't really u derstand if you did bought the coin or you did not. Oh well if you did bought though, well done!! You are indeed a millionaire. You can sell all your coins if you want to. Or you can sell some and leave most of it to grow more millions while you sit and enjoy being a millionaire.

Lol this is the story of a dreamer. It is always easy to find oneself in a situation of 'had I known' than to find oneself in the other side of the story 'I knew it! Thank God I made the right decision'. If wishes were 🐴s everybody would be millionaire.

You just made the biggest mistake and you missed a life changing opportunity of your life. Don't worry you're not alone, there's a lot of people out there who has the same experience as you have. I've know bitcoin too, when it was too cheap, however, I didn't invest because there was a lot of scam during that time.

Yes, you could have been a millionaire. A lot of people regret missing the early days of Bitcoin but this story must be especially painful.
