Why is every time the difficulty drops and the network hashrate rises the orphan amount gets ultra high and the network/pools gets unstable.. its not that much of hashrate to handle...
Multipools (profit switching pools) are really becoming a problem... Same is happening to other coins including Megacoin and it seems to be getting worse..

The network will outgrow the effect of them. DGC is handling the swings well for the moment.

I would like to see that happened and the question is when? At this rate both of multi coin pools are growing faster than DGC NW(which is not growing at all) and it looks like it will stay that way. Something should be done and i can see that above mentioned pools have devastating impact on some coins, hence they already killed ARG.

When going to fix it? In periods of low difficulty are permanent orphans. this is due to multipool & other switching pools pop in at low diff so the network goes crazy. there is no fix for that except making diff to adjust faster.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, the devs will either make changes or they won't.
DGC works well enough imo, it will be fine as it is.

Maybe update the wallet? Add a constraint to change difficulty no more than 15%.

Had no idea that was happening when the flash mining occurs. Crazy. Thinking out loud: Do you think that a bunch of p2pool nodes could combat this? P2Pools have an advantage when it comes to orphans since each node concurrently announces a found block. So if we had 100 nodes it would be 100 to 1 in the favor of p2pool against an orphan.

The difficulty readjustment should be done not only for this reason but to protect the coin from a 51% attack, as was discussed here a few weeks ago. As long as the block reward is untouched, I'm sure the entire community would support such a change!

This change will also have a positive impact on a nw hashrates and of course on a market cap and coin value. It is a positive chain reaction.

Agree, I'm not sure why turning heads either but can't be bothered to argue, adjustment to difficulty I'm sure would help.

+1. For example, add a limit on the change difficulty no more then plus or minus 15%. Need to fix this problem, please.

The problem needs to be fixed, but the spots adjustement can oscillate a lot so it is not a good one, better algorithm are the one in bitbar, yacoin, or primecoin. The difficulty changes smoothly with time (a each block adjusted mean) and does not oscillate.
I think it would better for digitalcoin.
