What is the best way to buy some Digicoins?
It is impossible to avoid buy bitcoins?
In Spain lotto started to have taxes (before was a public company were benefits were going to pay public services (what a horrible communist idea), and winner didnt need to pay taxes) Now benefits goes to private companies, so...., i thought, instead spending 200€ in lotto to gift, buy 200€ in crypto and print some QR codes (i would keep a copy just in case someone takes it as a joke)
Crypto-Trade: https://crypto-trade.com/ref/addfx has PayPal, Ukash and a DGC/BTC market. I've traded there and found them to be reliable. ~are they reliable i see they are lagging on the btc price!

The Digicoin has increased 41.27% in value according to http://coinmarketcap.com/. I think a rich guy or lady sees potential in our lovely coin Does someone know what caused this? It was really fluctuating the last days. It's worth about 2,5 dollar cents according to CoinMarketCap Granted, there is very little liquidity, so a 41% increase can turn into 20% decline in no time. Nevertheless, I have high hopes for dgc's future. Just glad to see a stable price right now. BTC at 500+ are crazy times.

When do you expect DGC to double given it gets cut in half, along with most other alt coins, everytime Bitcoin makes another move up?
Seriously, unless there's a plan to mitigate this Bitcoin effect then there's no way to stop this freefall and the CryptoAve plan will only give DGC so much support and maybe a temporary bounce.
This Bitcoin pressure is too much to handle and it will drive most alts down to zero unless a plan is put into place.
I personally stopped linking any alt. coins future worth or current exchange value directly with Bitcoin exchange sometime ago. Whilst the BTC/DGC , BTC/LTC etc. exchange value is obviously very important it is certainly not the be all and end all. The very fact that DGC held strong, stable and level during the recent BTC price rally clearly demonstrates that all is well with digitalcoin. If Bitcoin is the kernel, then alt. coin are like distros. Bitcoin is on its way to becoming a de-(centralized ?) store of wealth and Litecoin is probably heading that way as well in terms of 'gold' vs 'silver'. Digitalcoin is designed for making fast transactions over being a store of wealth. Sure, I'm guessing that holding a fair number of DGC is probably a very good investment for the future. Its unlikely that DGC will ever have a value above BTC, thats really not the aim here, digitalcoin is about making transactions and being spendable. Digitalcoin therefore should see better price stability and as wider adoption increases the price should also rise against both BTC and fiat currency. Vlad2Vlad had advocated ixcoin to myself in a thread a few days ago, because of its similarity / differences to Bitcoin (which is fine and I do merge mine a few of those myself). My interest in DGC is not just about seeking big returns, its also about continuing to make better, faster and safer 'money' for the masses. What Bitcoin aimed to offer from the outset and what it still does offer people today. The digitalcoin community understands this and supports what DGC has the potential to accomplish. Just look back in the thread over the last few weeks - new online web wallets, smart phone apps. and portable USB products are being created by the growing DGC community with active marketing and support, outside of crypto forums. I don't see this actively happening with very many other alt. coins currently in quite the same way. Lastly, If you want a coin thats similar to Bitcoin and stands a good chance of going somewhere, then with the launch of CryptoAve exchange soon you probably wouldn't go a miss checking out Securecoin. [-buying under-.0004-]>>~*~SRC/Securecoin~*~<<-does this gem have its' own thread? *many thanks! https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/88

Sorry, 15 DGC is nothing really as a promotion. I understand it's more of a symbolic gesture. I support the project but don't want to use my FB account and don't use twitter. And hey, thank you for your PM with GBP prices, but could you just point your finger on a number of DGC that you would sell them for and let anyone know the price who wants to buy them for DGC? I know that prices are changing constantly, but if you want this thing going you might want to sell it for a symbolic yet appropriate fixed DGC amount. Thanks! Any other news? Did everyone survive the recent upswing and crash of BTC ok?

The whole idea of this is to create additional interest in DGC through promoting a crowdfunding project. Do you think that 15 BTC was alot in 2010 ? This is how you create value and worth for your coins - or try to anyway.

Along with 500 other Bitcoins that I thought 5 bucks would be a good price for. It was very courageous for someone accepting BTC back then, and they were more than rewarded if they held onto the coins. Here goes the same for you now, you put yourself out there and take the risk of letting people pay in DGC. If you really believe in it, you will do yourself a favor selling for DGC.

Indeed. I know full well what that feels like. When I sent you prices in EUR and USD it was to give you an indication for conversion. I'll happily accept DGC, BTC, LTC, CGB, SRC and consider most other alt. coins to. This first (and only ?) batch was more expensive on the initial print run, as before, but I still think the price as per. the indiegogo is reasonable, as shipping is included. Its a promotional item afterall. I can do a discount as before on more than one Flashdrive.

I'm pretty sure you could sell quite a few of these usb sticks, easily more than 50.

I'm pretty sure you could sell quite a few of these usb sticks, easily more than 50. Its really about the production costs. I paid for a stock of 50 up front, which just about gives room for some profit after shipping costs and my time. I've had them printed to support and advertise DGC really, but as a business model it only really works if the production print run is at least 500 to 1000+ units. Hence the fairly high amount for the indiegogo target figure. When DGC is more popular then yes I'm also sure that I could perhaps be selling more of them with higher DGC denominations as well. The crowdfunding projects were to help ensure I would clear the 1st batch of stock and could order more, whilst generating some additonal interest in digitalcoin. These crowdfunding projects normally get most contributions towards the end, but its not looking very hopeful currently.

If you don't succeed, try and try again. The next time you do the crowdfunding again, let me do the promo. I think there were too many hoops people had to jump through to just get a chance to win the flashdrive. I'll just make it simple. Go to the link, click on support by twitter, FB or tumblr, PM me the screenshot and you'll get 50 or 100 DGC plus a chance to win a Digitalcoin flipcard flashdrive.
I think that should get you the support need. If there are other ideas let me know.

Well techbytes, we still have 2 days left for the thunderclap: 24 of 100 supporters, so we just need another 76 twitter accounts to follow / link the app by: Time Left - 2 days - Ends Nov 23, 4:00 PM EST - http://thndr.it/1aVQ4gRThis sends a re-tweet for the indiegogo project which still has 9 days left to run: http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/digitalcoin-portable-usb-flipcardCrowdfunding was supposed to provide an easy way to buy the DGC USB's really, because all funding is kept and 1 pledge = 1x DGC USB. Also on bitcoinstarter.com with 1 pledge: https://bitcoinstarter.com/projects/279 So, at least 1 person likes the idea - lol

I don't quite understand how helpful it is to share the project with say my facebook friends, most of whom have no connection with Bitcoin, let alone DGC and would ignore the message or think I'm a nerd. Tech-savvy people who are connected to other tech-savvy people wouldn't need to send it to each other, because they would already know about cryptos. Just afraid none my peers would be a suitable target group. Too bad you have to order 500 of them, otherwise you could take pre-orders and sell them one by one (or 5,10,etc) and that would be the best promotion for DGC in itself. I don't think I've even read about the sticks in the facebook group, while the android wallet, news about CryptoAve and lots of other updates are posted.

Thunderclap has an app for that. Thats what Thunderclap does. The DGC USB project won't get a social boost if it does not receive 100 followers. Thuderclap increases social reach. Fair enough though. I'm not taking pre-orders. Thats what this avoids me doing. I do have the first 50 Flipcard USBs in stock, as I already stated.I'm keeping 2 of then for myself, 10 are going to techbytes and 5 are going to FiniteByDesign. 15 are allocated to the forum comp. (the other 15 are the old 2 GB stock) So, that means I've got 18 left to sell out of the first 50 batch right now.
