the main reason because Bitcoin is not a flat income that offers a percentage percentage per month. Because the fluctuations in value are determined by the increase and decrease in the number of demand and supply in the market. Many of the world's rich people are created from this price boom. They buy cheaply and sell it with more expensive folding.
the second reason is Bitcoin Tax Free. Unlike land and property taxed, Bitcoin is not taxed. With this situation of course you will be more profitable and invest.

I don't think it has kept its promise of minimal fees and lightning fast transactions. Also, I think it is not safe to invest in Bitcoin at the moment due to the general uncertainty of which way it will go after the attempts to regulate it in a massive scale.

I dont think its fees are that low refering to your statement. But yeah it was so cheap and so fast. But as the time goes, more adoption bring more transaction and growth in term of value. Traffic congestion and expensive fees are coming along
