Hi guys! I read all the guide, I was mining with clay 9.7 for XMR, getting around 780 H/s per card (have 3 cards RX570), Im on win10 x64 with custom timings (hynnix).
As you said, sgminer would have higher hashrates, but I could only get 720 H/s per card maximum...
I tried tunning worksize, with no succed... Also tried Intensity but only get worst results...
If I change the gpu threads param, the program dont work properly...
any ideas?
ty in advance
SGminer with stock conf isn't very good, but with right settings it can do much better. Also XMR-STAK, can almost achieve SGminer. Not sure about Claymore improvement, I just tried it stock, it has much higher power consumption. I will do guide with conf files for these miners, but probably won't share for free. Since I've showed you my stats on my 5 card mixed rig I will continue with it. It's not the highest you can have with RX cards. Total hashrate with 2x RX 470 and 3x RX 480. First is XMR-STAK-AMD 1.4.0, second is Claymore XMR 9.7 and third is SGminer 5.5.5 interesting, there are more parameters than Worksize and Intensity (Besides GPU_Threads) to tweak? if so, can you pls tell me which ones? I will continue testing others settings. By the way, the GPU Clock on monero does affect a lot the perfomance.

Mattthev, I know it's a bit of a thread hijack, but I thought I'd still put it here as it might shed some light onto some issues (if it gets solved):
Over the weekend I installed the newest XMR gui wallet (windows 10) and imported my old (2014) wallet file into it. Daemon synced over the weekend, all looked good.
Yesterday night I decided to cash out mining proceeds from suprnova and sent these to my local wallet address. 15 hours later, it still hadn't appeared. Ocminer was nice enough to credit the failed cash-out transaction back to my pool account, but I am still at loss in regards to what happened.
Why didn't that transaction go through? I'm mining on nanopool as well currently and would hate to have the same happen to me there. Is my old wallet not compatible anymore? Have I done something wrong? Should I have generated a payment ID in the wallet before I sent a cash out request on suprnova?
Would appreciate any help on the matter!

You should talk to support probably. I think there should be no problem, but I don't have that old wallet. The net grown so it took little bit more time to transfer now. You might withdraw to Mymonero wallet, it's working very good and then try to send some amount to your wallet.

There is formula to count for Nvidia for XMR-STAK-NVIDIA. Never try any other miner on Nvidia, so might be also for others.

Do you guys mine XMR at profit? I cannot get my rig to be profitable with normal electricity costs. Or do you guys bet that it will rise in value later?

Why didn't that transaction go through?
There was a sudden spike at the network due to big exchange listing and all the speculations around that, adaptive blocksize just couldn't keep up which lead to a situation where you needed to pay really high tx fees if you wanted to be fast. About cpu miners, everyone should try this one too, fast cpuminer for dummies: https://github.com/xmrig/xmrig

I tried a lot of ccminers but I only achieved 650h with a GTX 1070, is there any option to increase the hashrate? On sigt I used -i for intensity, but I can't use anymore

This algo favors amd, with nvidia you need to play with high mem oc and launch configs. Google is your friend.

I tried it and liked it more than xmr-stak-cpu - the same speed but the colourful notices are prettier

The fastest monero miner for NVIDIA is the sp-mod. (0.1 btc donation miner.) With max oc I have managed to reach 813h/s on the gtx 1070 with samsung memory. And 600h/s on the gtx 1060 with samsung mem. Work is in progress. Donate and get free updates. PM for details gpu 0: Gigabyte g1 gaming (micron memory) gpu 3: Gainward 1060 (samsung memory) gpu 4: Inno3d 1070 (samsung memory)

One more unstable miner showing "best" digits for 30 seconds and false numbers in the miner and not on the pool? Just as with skunk algo where tpruvot ccminer2.2 beats your's eight times "optimised". Free miners can also do 750H/s

My skunk #8 is faster on all cards. 1060 3gb is 13% faster than ccminer 2.2. Monero: Sp-mod pascal has been mining on 100's of rigs for a long time. The results are real and verified by many users. The free miners cannot do 800+ (808 with micron memory. gigabyte G1 gaming) samsung can go higher.

Thanks, I already searched on google but i can't find about the intensity I haven't tried ccminer for Monero, but even with my GTX 860M I can have almost 270H/s with XMR-STAK-NVIDIA, so for GTX 1070 it's low I would say. On Github in issues there is how to setup the config I don't remember in which one is it.
