I see plenty of people lamenting about high staking difficulty and that they don't make any coins now when coins from auction started staking.
I was going to ignore those comments but afterwards i decided to take this opportunity to educate some where the real problem is.

This coin have brilliant POW+POS mix and staking is extremely cheap.
68M coins was sold for total of 25btc.
Mere investment of 2BTC secured over 5M coins (this is what i did and i observe stakes every hour, sometimes multiple stake in hour)

So the real problem is something different.
It is that those people are basically broke and have almost no money to invest.
There are two paths that they can chose now:

1st, difficult
admit that you are worthless loser and do something about it, change your future, transform yourself into something else

2nd, easy
criticize the POS system
or Conqueror
or rich people
or Trezarcoin
etc.

I picked the first option few years ago, i accepted that i was broke loser. And evolved from that state step by step.
Was it easy? No.
Am I bitching about high staking difficulty now? No.

ok, I am ready
Go ahead and choose No. 2

For the record, I don't lament the high staking difficulty, my only lament is that I was too busy with other things and missed the whole auctioning...

No matter, mining is providing a good amount of coins.

I can say only one thing. It is very "smart" turn, when 20% premined coin have pos stacking from first days. Because of that coin have no future. Im invest here 20$ and regret about that(was careless and missed info about auction. In my opinion it was reserved by dev for some years without POS stacking.). Good luck with your's 2 btc.
P.S. BLOOD 1997 is awesome game, dude)

What the hell are you talking about? premine is 3%, the other 17% are auctioned. Everyone had an equal chance to buy them, how is that premining?

I admit I mined/staked 4 PoS blocks at the beginning to verify that all is working as it should, afterwards I disabled my PoS and haven't turned it on again.

Same no stacking for the moment.. My wallet is open 24/24 for a week but nothing

Do you have try change config ?
I hesitate to change but I do not know which one

minersleep=2000
stakemindepth=1000
stakemintime=72
stakecombine=40
stakesplit=80

is your wallet unlocked for staking?
do you have the golden triangle in the lower left
if you mouse over it do you see something that says:
Staking enabled for #imputs weighing ### coin days inputs: ## min. age, # avg.age # max.age

if so staking is working you just have to wait

-TC

Yes guy my wallet is open and unlock and golden triangle
I have 3000TZC
Staking enabled for 6 inputs weighing 5566 coins days inputs: 6 min. age, 0 avg.age 0 max.age

That looks good, now you have to wait until you find one PoS Block.

If my understanding of how the PoS weight works is correct, if those of us who didn't invest large sums of money and/or time into the coin so far just keep PoW mining and collecting all of those coins to one address, effectively making one very heavy stake for ourselves, it greatly increases the chances of getting a PoS block.

Are we going to get as many blocks as the people who bought hundreds of thousands of coins at auction? No, and it really wouldn't be "fair" if we did. It doesn't mean were completely boned out of ever getting blocks though. I don't know why everyone is mad that we can't hit 10 PoS blocks a day only having 1k coins. Give it time, you'll have a stack that reflects your patience/investment in time.

The 2nd option is the only one a lot of kids know these days. Instead of working hard and changing themselves, they just bitch and complain that nothing is fair and how they deserve stuff for nothing.

Ah well, let them live in bitch world and one day they will figure out life isn't fair and they can't get things just by crying like a child.

Just thought I would throw in that I received another POS block reward late today.  I have 10K coins and 43 inputs of 23505 coins.

The difficulty is harder for sure... but got at least a little lucky.

Pretty much what he said. Also there are more Blocks rewarded in PoW mining then in PoS. 2/3 Pow ( 960 blocks ) and 1/3 PoS (480 blocks )

There's really no point in complaining about PoS difficulty.

Give it time and you'll get a ratio that compliments the amount of coins you staked over time. Don't expect it to show up over night. PoS is a waiting game, not a short burst of profitability.

I picked up 55k coins in the auction and haven't hit a PoS block in almost 24 hours and you don't see me complaining.

People with less coins than me aren't going to hit nearly as many PoS blocks as I am and people with many more coins than me are going to hit many more PoS blocks than I am. It's just how the game works, fellas.

hmmm. Perhaps it was right. POW mining pretty easy right now. But anyway this coin would be more interesting if premined amount still reserved and unstakable for some period.

2 Things:

1)I have noticed that the PoW hashrate varies WILDLY.  I have seen it go from 300 to 800 MH/s in a matter of minutes. Anyone can understand why such gross variances?

2) How to interpret the PoS difficulty? If diff=1, what does it mean?  What would be your chances of finding each block if you had, say , 1 million coins-days=

Dunno if my thinking is correct, but let's assume all holder are staking their coins in the most optimal may. To make it easy let's say 80 million.
As there are 480 PoS Blocks daily to be rewarded, statistically with 1 Million coins ( not weight ), you should get 6 coins per day.

Now as some are probably not staking, some may not have an optimal distribution and with the factor luck. It may be more or less. But probably more...

This may or may not be correct.
