1Bitcoin as a gift from someone

Personally I would hold the bitcoin.
Right now I have not much need of money, so all I can do is invest it. And because bitcoin is already a very good investment, I would stick to the coin I got.
Of course it would be different if I needed money. Then nothing speaks against selling the coin. After all it was a money gift. And what else is money good for than to spend it when it is needed?

The first think i do is thanks to the person that give me 1 bitcoin, damn dude easy $4,500 who doesn't want it ? If that ever happened to me, i will cash out the half of 1 bitcoin and the rest i keep it and trying to make it growth. I mean, i can use that $2,250 to trading, investing and many else.

I dont want to sell 1 btc right now because with 1 btc, i can increase the amount so i can have more btc. I will trade that amount with many pair and if i can increase the amount by taking profit then i will cash out the profit only and i will continue to using 1 btc to make another profit.

But the question is who will give me 1 btc?

Because 1 btc now is too expensive and only person which have big btc will do that but i guess,there are no other person will give 1 btc by free.

i will sell some, and give something back to someone who give me, that is what called take and give, and save the rest then wait for the price to rise again. i think that is good thing to do

It truly is a wise decision. It was nice of you mentioning giving some of it back IMO. I guess $4500 is the kind of money which is a lot to simply spend it on life and too small to make a real difference (to buy a flat, for example). That's why I would rather hold my btc for the better times and cash some whenever it will really be needed or if the price reaches $45k. For that price one can buy a modest two-room flat in a good district in the capital of my country.

1 Bitcoin is a big money, I think no one would gift someone else. However, if someone nice gives me a bitcoin, I would:
 - Sell 0.2 btc to wait when Bitcoin decrease low and buy back.
 -  I will use 0.4 btc to buy some potential altcoins like ETH, LTC, LSK, XRP, STRATIS ...
 - The remaining is 0.4 btc, I will holder in the wallet can be several years or longer. Because I believe in the future of Bitcoin!

Stupid question. Why do people dream about to get undeserved money? You'd better dreamed to find a job that will generate enough bitcoins to get the best education in the world. This is the approach I understand.

sure it will be heaven for me if i recieve a bitcoin, i will surely be excite, be happy and wooah i have a bitcoin, im nit that long in cryptoworld thats why i dont have yet a bitcoin, but, surely i will the sender and if i found out i will return it, but luckily i cant, then I invest for more on that bitcoin....

Anyways for me i will make a decision that i will never repent after which is bad ways. I will not withdraw 1btc cause its a lot of money for me . Ithink 1/4 of 1btc .haha and i use it to make a small business so that i can earn also some money and i will use it for may daily needed.  And the other i think i will invest it or trade or keep it in my local wallet and wait the chance that bitcoin rise again so that my 1 btc will become 2btc.  Haha i think i am so rich if that time happened. .

I would hold bitcoin for a long time to get even more profit. The price is now quite high for one coin, but I would not want to miss the opportunity to get even more money.

The price of a whole bitcoin is no joke, and if somebody is generous enough to give me one for some reason, then I’d say god bless to whoever that person is. Same thing as I do with my earnings, I would simply hold it and act like I didn’t receive anything at all. Maybe, after holding it for five years and the price has multiplied, I would give back to the person the dollar value of what he gave me before.

Same as you I will be happy since that 1 btc is truly helpful for me and I can already used it to expand my trade balance, But this is just a rare case scenario and 1btc is very huge amount that random people cannot afford to give it to anyone.

it is such a big blessing to someone who will receive that gift of about 1 Bitcoin, either you hold it or cashing out there is nothing to lose. if it is used wisely like re-investment or capital for other business venture is the right thing to do as a sign of gratitude from the giver so he will not feel regret if it is used for other unreasonable purpose like lavish spending or put it into gambling.

If the plot is I dont know anything about bitcoin yet then I will be excited to sell it and will rush to find anything on how to convert it to cash.
But if it is now, I might be keeping half of it and let it stay if ever the price will somehow rise.
Well, i still have the other half to enjoy the gift and that is already a handsome amount.

I believe that bitcoin will be higher than ever and i would be very appreciate if someone gave me 1 bitcoin right now. 1 BTC is a good amount of money. If I were you, I would definitely hold it, because I believe that BTC has not reached it potential value. But if you need it to buy something or pay debts or bills, well then I would pay that and hold whatever left out, if any.

I will be on cloud nine if someone gifts me 1 bitcoin.I am not sure whether i will hold it or not.It will depend on the situation that is if i am in an urgent need of money then definitely i will use it up or otherwise i will wait for its value to increase more.
