1Bitcoin as a gift from someone

If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?

It would be a great present for me, especially today because its price is great. I think the half of it I will save and store so it has a chance to get bigger, and the other half I will use to spend it in my wants and needs, and in my family. Of course I will convert it first to our currency. Also I know it will be a great amount of money, so I will use it to help others too.

If ever someone will unexpectedly gift me 1 Bitcoin, yes i will withdraw it right away and convert it with cash because that would be enough for the operation the hernia of my son, after the operation that will be the time i will compose a thread here to look and say thank you to the person who sent the 1 Bitcoin.

That's a good gimmick to us if you are apart. 1 btc could already build a nice house. It is a blood sweat money to earn, it could cost one and a half years to earn. What kind of person he is. But I don't think  so as long as he give it to me with regards, simply no problem.

Cool, currently 1 btc = $ 7300 and I think this is a great gift, it takes more than 3 months in my place to be able to get 1 btc, and I'm sure the recipient will be happy because bitcoin is a lucrative thing.

I have given 1 BTC to a friend of mine when bitcoin was 600 dollar. Now I would give a fraction of bitcoin as a gift. It's unbelievable how much the price has risen.
But yeah giving is good, giving bitcoin is even better. It's not just about the amount. The gesture itself is nice too.

I will do business like bakery in real life if you gave me that kind of money then some will invest for long term in bitcoin because i think i will do bitcoin job forever if this will continue like this.I think knowing bitcoin is like a business also because here we need to invest our money and think this day by day to earn

looking now for rally thats going on with a price, hold is a good idea...especially if you get it as a gift there will be no calculator in a head like ....or if i fix now my profit will be...

IMO, but definitely gonna hold it and I don't wanna waste every single satoshis of it. Yeah it's a gift from someone and first thing that will can come to our mind is to spend some of it but with the current status now of bitcoin it's hard for me to spend it like I want to utilize every single of it. And maybe if I spend, it'll definitely go in exchanges as I buy some alts that I'll hold together with my other coins.

If was given 1 btc and for starters, I would have no idea on what it is and then if I learned how much its price now, for sure I will keep it then I will research about bitcoin so that I can know how and why its price is like that and how can someone give that kind of amount so easily. I'm sure after knowing the basics about bitcoin, it will peek my interest and I would start investing my money in it.

Things come with the passage of time and above all with experience. If you are having 1 bitcoin, then you are much lucky than so many like us who are still striving hard for having something like that. When the price has reached to $10k I'll pull out my investment and again put up another business so I can retire early and just focus on my business.

1btc now a day is a huge amount if you convert to fiat Im also be happy if someone give me 1btc or half as a gift I will invest the half btc to business (meat shop) and the remaining half buy some altcoin and hold for long term.

Here in my opinion it would not be better to go with one decision because use of bitcoin in every ways is a better option for the bitcoin owner , who has the bitcoin in his wallet .
Here if I would be at your place then I will put 0.5 btc for the trading in the altcoins and rest of them will be put by me for the long term investment in my direct bitcoin Wallet , Because I know that the value of the bitcoin rising day by day and I can easily make much money without doing a single minute work .
And with the same time I can work with half of the bitcoin that I putted in the trading .
So in this way I would to manage my bitcoin if will get from someone or I will earn myself then even also do the same thing because it is much better way to use bitcoin instead to spent all for enjoyment.

It depends from the circumstances. If I would have no money for special needs, for example for subsistence or payment for an apartment, then of course I would immediately sell bitcoin, but if I would have already a few bitcoins in my bitcoin wallet then I would hold this bitcoin and sell later when exchanging rate would be better.

if something like this really happened to me, I would be happy, and I can use it as a positive thing, like investing to make more profit. because 1 btc it has included many, for me. so I can help the parents in the cost of college and living expenses so far.

Hopefully this is true have 1 btc just a gift, lol stop expecting so high to have that btc it will never happen for sure. Well as the answer of your weird question, 50% of btc i hold for the better future and then 30% investing, 10%trading and 10% spending. Biggest amount in saving because this is for the future.
