If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?

That'll be awesome, too good to be true though. If it were to happen, I would use it to but mining equipment and if I still have some left, I would take my family on vacation. I'd probably do the same for someone as a way to share my blessings when I become successful.

i think it is very hard to get one bitcoin as a gift even from the hidden satoshi so better to work hard for it .

If someone gives me a Bitcoin as gift, I will definitely hold it. If the bitcoin now is worth $5000 but in the next month will be $6000 then there could be a big possibility that it can reach $10k or more if I will hold it for the longer period of time. But it is also a case to case basis, when the situation is an urgent and I need a cash, then I will convert it into a cash depending of how much I needed.

I will definitely keep that bitcoin, I will gladly wait to make that an good investment for the mean time. Rushing things will not help you at all. Think twice first even bitcoin has good exchange.

I would hold it. The way I see it is that regardless of how much bitcoin you have, you don't actually own money that you can use until:

1) you convert the bitcoin to USD or whatever usable currency there is in your country
or
2) Bitcoin becomes so widely accepted that it can be used anywhere.

So, when you're given a gift, you don't have anything to lose -- you're not in the negative by buying that bitcoin or by losing it. You're technically only in the positive. For that reason, and because I feel that bitcoin has time to blossom even more, I would hold. I would also make sure to be cautious about drops though.
No. I dont wsnt to give large amount of money. I prefer to buy things that he or she wants than of giving money to them because 1 bitcoin is very large money and hard for me to earn and then you will just give it as a gift. No way.

Giving 1 bitcoin is a good thing, and I'm sure if he be patient to hold then in 5 years his value will reach more than $ 300,000 and the giver will be a very noble person because it can help someone.

I would like to recive that gift first and then think what to do with it. I think I will keep it, or if I need money I will sell a part of it and keep the rest. If someone would like to try this experiment with me, they can contact me in private so that I can give them my BTC address. After that we will see what I will do with it. I accept all kinds of crypto as a donations. so if you feel generous send me a pm

Wao 1 Bitcoin as a gift from someone😀, if I where to be in your shoes I will divide it's worth into 3 equal part.
Use one part to invest in other upcoming crypto already in coin market .
Use the second part to partake in hottest trending ICOs .
Then finally I will keep the rest in my wallet,to sell if need be.

Honestly I don't want it to give in someone as a gift. It is not being selfish it just having a business mind. Why would you give bitcoin if you can give such things like shoes, jewelries and others except for bitcoin. Bitcoin is very essential most especially to the investors, if 1 bitcoin was given to others it was a biggest loss for you. Better to hold it and make it multiply than giving it in others which is not familiar in bitcoin. They may waste it and spend it in unnecessary things but if bitcoin is in you it will earn more and many things / gifts you may give to the most needy person.

HODL until I need it the most. Its a rare chance to get 1 bitcoin and for free! I don't want to waste it by being greedy and selling it ASAP.

if there are people who are kind enough to give me one bitcoin,I will defend his to be used as a future investment, but see the price of a bitcoin now,I think it will be very difficult for someone to give you their bitcoin Is useless.

I would love to have bitcoin as a gift.  If someone would give me that then I will spend some of it maybe just a quarter.  And then I will save the three quarters as I know that it could price whole again.  But I do not hink that someone would just give bitcoin as a gift.

invest it of course, you can get the best out of your money if you let it earn so investing it would be good. That way while waiting for bitcoin to increase its price again, your money is also earning some profit through investment.
If somebody can give me a Bitcoin maybe that person is a Bitcoin millionaire, no one can give that money to someone else without their own purpose, I do not know much. on investment so i do not have 1Bitcoin for someone

if someone is kind enough to give 1 BTC to me, then I will keep the bitcoin to the highest score, I will make it as my investment in the future and will only sell the bitcoin when it is needed.

Many in our time would be delighted with such a present who would refuse such a think that no one, and it's nice to get something in what you invest for free Smiley
