If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?
Wow. It will be such a great opportunity and blessing to receive 1 bitcoin as a gift from someone specially in our current time wherein 1 bitcoin really cost that much because its price rate in the market is continuously changing and rising as time passes by. So if I will be given a chance to receive 1 bitcoin as a gift, I will surely treasure it for a long time because I know it has a great potential to grow more.

I would definitely keep it stashed for a few years, until it went 10x the price, then would sell 1/5, wait for 100x the price, sell a quarter, wait for 1000x and sell 1/3, Invest another 1/2 in an ICO and keep the remaining  Wink

He must be very generous in giving 1 bitcoin. If it is me, i will take part of it to buy more bitcoin or invest part of it. It will be a good start for me to make it grow.

If that would be real I will convert it to cash, I do not need to invest or to wait for the value to rise up because it was given for free
WOW! If it ever happened I will be very happy because one bitcoin is too much for me I will not sell or convert my bitcoin to cash because having this bitcoin will encourage me to earn more bitcoin. One day I will be very thankful to the person who will send me bitcoin as a gift. Bitcoin price is increasing so high so it is the best gift we can give to our close friends.

Why there is a condition that a BTC was given by someone? I think in either way people will just hold it.
You are right. I believe that the one who will give you 1 Bitcoin as a gift will be the one who loves you the most. In present day, it is having much worth as compared to any other thing. You are the luckiest person if you are having it. All you need is to make best use of that Bitcoin in order to make more.

for me 1 bitcoin is a very large amount and if I receive a one bitcoin gift from someone very unexpectedly, I will immediately sell half of it and half of it will I use for other purposes in crypto like investing and trading for example. but it would not be possible, seeing the very high bitcoin prices I think people not will give 1 bitcoin easily.
Yes I think that investing half of it for investing is a really good decision. but I recommend that you should spend a portion of that to open up a business. I recommend a warehouse business or apartment because the maintenance is very low and the profit is high. just don't forget to pay taxes and all is good.

If it's right now I suppose I'd trade it out, but for various other cryptos.

I don't think it will be the basis in terms of measuring love, 1 btc is too hard to obtained now, if someone gives it to us maybe he or she just have plenty of it, maybe if he knows were into bitcoin, probably he will give us some but not too much btc.

I think its depends on the situation, but for me I sold it in to cash money and I will make smalle business like mini store.

One bitcoin has a big value at the present, so many things that we can do through this, but if you hold it and save to your offline wallet you are able to earn from that because the value of bitcoin will goes up but if you need a cash money its better to convert it to bank money and spend it in a particular situation that you are encounter.

I know price of bitcoins now likely worth, but that is all depends how my situation now. For while may I've enough of money. so possibly I will keep them.  Wink Believe me keep money or asset with bitcoin are good things.

I'd say the same because my actions would really depend on the situation. If there's an immediate need for cash, then I'd most probably convert my bitcoin into fiat. But if I had the luxury to keep it, I would most probably choose to hold it for long term. Knowing the potential of Bitcoin, I would hope that it would have a much higher value in the future. Or I could portion out that 1 BTC, and use it for trading or to buy even more Bitcoin.

it really depends on your situation, if you really need that money, yeah - exchange it for $
if not just keep it and let it appreciate in value

If you have enough bitcoins to do that and it's someone you love or is a really good friend, why not. But like 1 btc is a lot of money.
The lucky one to receive it would be really happy ofcourse. so i think it's your choice.

The first think i do is thanks to the person that give me 1 bitcoin, damn dude easy $4,500 who doesn't want it ? If that ever happened to me, i will cash out the half of 1 bitcoin and the rest i keep it and trying to make it growth. I mean, i can use that $2,250 to trading, investing and many else.
It is really so nice of a person who don’t need $4500 in current times and just gifting you the whole sum. Amazing Tongue What you are deciding to do with that bitcoin I think it is quite an attractive strategy to use half for your needs and half to put in the trade to make it double and triple.

I will be so happy if someone will give me 1 bitcoin as a gift because for me it is already a big thing. I think what will I do is to hold it for the meantime and wait for a better price because i believe that bitcoin's price will become more bigger in the future and will be enough to buy a house, I will take the risk to hold it because at the first place, It is just an unexpected gift, its a win and win condition. You didn't do anything to gain it, so you can take the risk for it ti become a bigger gift.

Put 0.3 btc in my wallet, the rest trading.

Divert the funds into many coins.
And put sell orders  Wink
This will be my different reactions in 2009 and 2017. 2009– Me: man I don’t know what this is, but it ain’t worth anything, but I’ma keep, cause a friend gave it to me on my birthday, I will keep it. 2017– Me: oh my God! Did you just…holy…omg, man you changed my life forever *dabs* lol. Well, I will likely do the same thing you said, by leaving 0.3 btc, and diverting the rest into many coins and trading before I sell.

To be candid, I do think about this kind of sitiation wherever I open my Bitcoin wallet of an invincible being gifting my one Bitcoin either by error or by deliberate action. Sadly, this hasn't happened yet. I don't know why it's so hard with Bitcoin as I do get free coins to some of my altcoin wallets occasionally.

On the second issue, I do not sell whatever that is gifted to me as a matter of principle. Based on that I will not sell it off. I would rather trade or keep the one Bitcoin.

First of all I would worship that person for the rest of my life to gift me with 1 bitcoin which as of now is valued around $4000. When it comes to spending I think I would try to increase my asset size by investing it in some popular altcoins which have some potential to grow so that I can get a regular income from the 1 bitcoin that was gifted to me.
