I paid more than 0.3 BTC each. Just waiting for them was 3 months. Enlighten me how to go back in time and make 2-3 weeks ROI?

I am planning to run 6 of Gaint X10 on my Baikal APW5 PSUs at 210V. Do anyone here have multiple X10 Miners on a Single PSU, and how many?

I run 3 X10s on 1 APW++

As long as you don't run X11 you will only pull 400 watts each

My 3 pull 1200 watts on a 1600 watt PSU (75% load)

APW5 @ 240 is good for 2600W.

I never go over 90% of full load.

Technically it can handle 6, but I would only run 5. And then you'll have to split cables twice because it only has 14 plugs.

Make sure you delete all X11 pools, if for some reason it switches to X11 you'll be in trouble.

Is it safe to run multiple miners on one psu? Because if there is something wrong with a psu you can damage not one, but all your miners which are connected to that psu. Or am I wrong here?

Does anyone know if you can just buy a replacement Pi for these things? I'm getting tired of rebooting my one problem child every few hours. Might try a different sd card as well but figured if I can find the correct Pi why not buy one.

In most cases burning a new image is sufficient, tough I had a case when a new pi was necessary, as the one could not read the sd card itself.

If the x10 ROI is already not good enough for the original price (as some here have complained) they would have a hard time selling any more now that payouts are much less.  B is attractive now for it's initial profitability in spite of it's price.

I don't think anyone is saying for sure there will be no more x10 runs, just that there have not been any more announced.  That  said, I would not be surprised if they make no more runs.

IDK I'm pretty happy with the ROI for my machines so far. If things stay how they have been I would guess ROI is under 30 days total. If thats true what more could you ask for?

No idea what the exchange rate of BTC was when you was ordering them. Did you buy from a reseller?

That is the first fault much people are doing. NEVER, and i really mean NEVER, buy ASIC‘s from a reseller. If you missed a miner from manufacturer, dont buy it. Resellers often take three time higher prices if not even more. They dont have any risk... It is just unbelievable and stupid, what some people are paying for these miners to resellers. But as long as there are such stupid people, that pays 3 or 4 time higher prices then manufacturer price, the resellers will do that.

Considering the manufacturer price of batch two (1399 $) the ROI at the moment is about 2-3 weeks, like i said above. Together with the fact, that the miner is multialgo, there will be 2 more algos added and baikal is not flooding the market like Bitmain for example, this is the best miner out there at this time...

I think there will be at least one more batch, when they release the new algos... but i think this would be end of february earliest. So the devices have made their ROI twice until that time. And even with one or two more batches the miner will stay profitable.

Yes.  I'm doing quite alright too.  In fact, things look a lot better than I thought they would at this point.  I was making a little jab at the poster who earlier said the thing wouldn't be able to make ROI.

Probably a pretty good "rule of thumb", but let me share my experience... I purchased mine through a reseller.  The markup was not even 2X when I got it.  Still very good considering how much it is minting for me every day.  It also looked (by comparison here) that I got my miner a little earlier than those who were waiting to get it directly from Baikal.  Maybe that was just luck...

Yes. This is the best miner out there right now, barre none.  Even my purchase from a reseller is paying off.  I haven't calculated if getting in a week earlier than the majority of people was worth the markup I paid.  I tend to think it was because for the first week I was mining I made almost twice what I'm bringing in now in terms of coin volume (which is still very good).

So yeah... 3rd party vendor is working out just fine for me.  To each their own.  Just do your math and see if it makes sense, then cross your fingers.

Contact baikal on support and they will give you the baikal support skype.. tell the guy issue and they may send you a replacement pi for free but you pay shipping. one of my pi's was bad and they shipped me a replacement

Did you do anything different? I think I made it a full day but then it proceeded to lock up every 2-3 hours yesterday. I'm wondering if pool side makes a difference.
