This article doesn't state that you can win at roulette by using math, it says this at the end: We can dress up the layout of the wheel, the layout of the betting cloth, our number selection and our money management system however we like, but the maths is always there, quietly working against us. You might as well just have fun, pick random numbers and trust to Lady Luck. Either that, or do as Einstein suggested and steal chips (not that we’d recommend it).
So no, it's not possible to win at roulette just by using math. For other games it's possible, but keep in mind that casino's are doing everything in their power to prevent you from doing so. I'm thinking of blackjack specifically, they have security measures in place to prevent you from counting cards. If they even suspect you're doing this, they can ban you from the casino. For pvp games like poker, you can effectively use math to gain an edge over other players though. |

That is right. Math can't help you, but it can assist you in some points. There are some branches of Mathematics that can help you with these type of activities. There are the probabilities and statistics. Probability is mostly used in gambling, the proof is the percentage of win you can see whenever you roll your dices in some gambling sites, everything has their percentage of winning in gambling but it is pretty small. IN terms of Statistics, I think when most people use that kind of trick or skill and won a lot, you will be doing the same thing, you will start to search or ask some people about gambling, gather some data that can help you win. |

depend on how big is your bankroll mate, i think calculating and do some trial and error will help you to get a chance to win, doing some math will help you conclude how many times you can use martinfail strategy but still it is luck that will allow you to win at the end of the day. |

Maths could help you learn it as well as to effectively put your plans into action while you lose, it can help you calculate them and plan again to recover them slowly but winning? I don't think it's possible for anything, there were many who even said that there is a Science behind gambling and if we understand that, we may win constantly. No subjects could really help except understanding the situations and act accordingly, but they work as a great source and if you control yourself as well as do it with the use of these subjects, you may really cut down an exceptional amount of losses in gambling. So saying that it could help you win is wrong but it can help you not to lose more.

I am also not expert in math but only in roulette game, because i am not expert in this game, and also i don't know is it math link with roulette? So it mean it is a strategy to use math in it and win in it. But now i leave to play roulette because first of all, i was not winning in it, and secondly, its jackpot has a less money, then better to choice other games where you could earn more like sports betting. No mate, there is no such maths calculation which will help you to win in the gambling. Its totally depends upon the size of your bank roll, your luck and the risk which you are willing to take. People should play for the enjoyment and if they can not afford to loose the money then they should stay away from the gambling.

many here are saying the truth and I agree with them that math really can not help you win in a gambling match but I suppose math is always around us and around you, we are using it always in a simple walking outside we are using math because in walking a distance is include in computing in math and the number of steps we had walk have a math in it, we are not aware of it but we are using math, and in the gambling match we are using numbers indicating that we are using it in every gambling bet, we don't using math to win but we are using it in gambling and in betting it is only a coincidence that we are winning.

Math can help you win but not on luck based games like roulette, dice. Sportsbetting with arbitrage style of betting involves a little math and when pulled off correctly you gain guranteed profit from it due to betting on both sides of the match.

I believe in Einstein in his statement about gambling Albert Einstein supposedly once said: “No one can win at roulette unless he steals money from the table while the croupier isn’t looking.” you shouldn't target winning in gambling because it is very hard winning in it and focus in enjoying more if you really want to play it, and I think that Einstein meant in his words is this and it is in the article there is no mathematical trick that can help you win at roulette. Each spin is an independent trial and, in the long run, the casino will win.
well this could apply in roulette and other luck base games on gambling but I guess poker and other card base game can applied with strategy and mathematical something. |

i am not sure as i am not playing roulette games and i don't know that games. but maybe it can help us if we know the strategy or the games rule. but i remember that in dice game, my friend told me that he tried to make simple calculation about the percentage from win and loss. he said that if we apply the math calculations in the dice game then the result sometimes its the same like what we made. but i don't know about this and maybe if i meet him again, i will asked him, how to make the calculation. |

Math can only serve as a guide. Math can be used in calculating what bankroll is needed and when to stop playing, with that still there is no guarantee of not busting. Gambling is all about luck and patience especially in roulette (waiting for green to pop) and poker.

Gambling is an uncertain game and we just rely on luck. I do not think mathematics would matter in the gambling game. Whatever we do like doing calculations then it will not have a significant impact. Mathematics will not mean in gambling and gambling does not require math to be able to achieve victory. Only luck can change everything. So multiply prayer than you should think to calculate what you want to get.
