Yes, that not gambling, but all of us should understand when we send money "to internet", they become a digital money, not money in your pocket, not your bank account, that means - you can lose them, because you can't control. Keep in mind it.

It depends on what we do in this community of course. Are you a gambler, a trader, a merchant? Or just a casual guy who do some signature campaigns. And yes BTC is not gambling. I don't see it as one. The only risk that likes in BTC is our own government, but if they will let it be almost all of us will adopt this great technology, The risk is that there are some people that want to bring the new system, but if we are going to study hard about it's benefits and if the banks are in one with us, man, imagine a world of cryptocurrencies. Imagine a ledger that all have a trasactions, imagine implementing it on the Congress or the projects of the country. No one will dare to stole some budget. Imagine it on bank to bank transfer, we won't need for armored cars, and long travel of money. I'm hoping that "that imagine" will be a reality.

Bitcoin is not gambling, it depends to people how they handle their bitcoin. If you have bitcoin its better to invest or trading, so everyday you can earn your profit. The value of bitcoin now is getting higher.

Bitcoin is not gambling, its investment. Gambling is when you take chance in your action based on luck, investment on the other hand, whether its in bitcoin, the foreign exchange, stock market etc. requires study about its history, factors which affects the prices, all to reduce the overall risk, its called calculated risk.

Well, it's all semantics, but okay... legally it's not gambling, but in spirit and concept, it's no different than gambling. The lower classes and lower middle classes "play" things like the lottery, while the middles and uppers "play" things like stocks and equities.
One of the game changing things about btc is that now waitresses, cashiers at supermarkets, and even the unemployed can be 'invested' (or gambling).

A big Yes! Bitcoin is diffidently not a gambling. Many peoples thought with something the included money that goes up and down is a gambling. Yes in bitcoin the value goes up and down, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that this is a gambling. Bitcoin is like an investment or business that is why its value can go up and down, a currency that depends also in the demand and the supply. If they think that this thoughts are gambling then maybe they are just destroy the image of bitcoin because of jealousy or they don’t know anything about it.

Bitcoin is not gambling it is a virtual currency that will be used in many transactions. Bitcoin can also be used in gambling but this is not gambling perhaps.

bitcoin is not gambling because its digital currency bitcoin have investing and trading
Yes, Bitcoin is one of the best digital currencies and it is an investment; it is not considered as a gambling. Bitcoin can be buy and keep before selling it; in prder to gain high profit, you must wait before selling it or before cash out. In this case, it is really considered as a kind of business that is worth investing.

Strange that a lot of people don't understand basic English... gambling by definition is: to stake something on a contingency. Going out on a day with 50% chance of rain is by definition gambling. Betting on red at a Marina Bay roulette table with a 50% chance of red or black is gambling. Buying 100 shares of Apple with 50% chance of going up or down is gambling. Buying 100 btc that has a 50% chance of going up or down is gambling. You are staking something (money) on a contingency (either A or B will happen). And for those who don't understand what a contingency is: it's simply an event that may occur, but is not certain to occur.

Bitcoin is a virtual currency and can be said to be an investment, just like forex and others. But bitcoin is decantrilized, no one can control it, no one can destroy it.

Many people simply think that gambling is a bad word.... and of course we can't say anything bad about btc, because people are nervous about anything negative that can cause them to lose money.
You'd be less nervous if you regularly take profits. Buy a new condo, a boat, or take a vacation... it's good stress relief.

When you have no knowledge in bitcoin the first thing comes from your mind is gambling that's because they know everything on internet that involves money is gambling. But when you learn bitcoin you will change what's your impression to it.
Here in bitcoin you can earn money in many ways like signature campaigns here in the forum and many more without depositing money or taking a risk but you must work hard for you to earn it. And gambling on the other side is more on fast money and the more capitals you have the more money you earn.

Actually, Bitcoin is not a gambling. It depends on you on how you will use it. But if you're taking and taking risk in earning and gaining profit, you're actually playing gambling inside the Bitcoin world. Hence, If you're holding your bitcoin and starts to join signature campaign, then you're holding and earning and earning bitcoins if you obey the rules and do what's right.
