Yes it is not gambling because with gambling you have to pay more than you lose and if you lose in bitcoin you only lost what you had invested in it and even from that you can make a profit if you know how, but you can also gamble in a lot of casino's with bitcoin but i don't think that that is an smart decision.

Gambling if you do trading not knowing what will be the outcome or if you have zero knowledge what are you doing. Not when you want to profit surely it will be a long process you need to study many indicators and such patterns to minimize the risk and become a good trader

I don't know why people say bitcoin is gambling. Its not gambling. You are investing your money and time. You use your internet. So its not gambling dealing with it.
It's either they are introduced to gambling with bitcoin or they are seeing online casino's and sees bitcoin is the only currency that it accepts. Basically speaking, bitcoin is not just a currency but it's also an investment, I can understand if they'll say that investing to bitcoin is like a gamble but bitcoin isn't literally gambling. Those things are completely different and they should understand that it's not appropriate to compare it. |

Bitcoin is not gambling because we all know that there is many proofs that saying bitcoin is legit and not a scam. So if there is someone say that bitcoin is a scam, maybe he or she is a newbie, because he/ she didn't know all about bitcoin. |

And I believe the real world has this kind of gambling, where we risk on things that we don't even know what will happened. So everything is a gambling I guess, all things we do are all gambling's if it has a risk of being a looser at some point. So bitcoin is not a gambling, it is what we do to be a gambler! We can't says that bitcoin is not gambling, because for me joining or investing amount into business is like a gambling. Due to there were no assurance that we were lost or win in the business, however sometimes we need to take the risk. Because if we can't take the chance of risk we don't know if we are earn income or lost of capital. To avoid loses just think 10x before make a decision if you can invest or not. |

We have different views or perspective when we look at bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. Maybe they say bitcoin is a gambling but not typically a gambling where you're going to put a bet and you're either gonna win or lose. What they mean is that when you invest to bitcoin there's no assurance that you're going to win (To Earn Profit) and that's why you're going to take risk in investing to bitcoin just like in gambling you don't know if you're gonna win or you're gonna lose right?
So it's not typically a gambling (betting) It's just like a synonym for them.

Because of this risk they liken it to gambling but in my point of view, it is true it is risky but unlike real gambling is more risky and the pressure is more of losing is more stronger, unlike bitcoin, you invest today, tomorrow maybe a bad price but you can sit down patiently and wait till it punch back again in price. Bitcoin is more exciting than gambling. |

yes bitcoin is not gambling it's depend to a person who got involved to some online gambling using bitcoin. But for me bitcoin carrency is the one source of my income, don't compare it to a gambling, all people in bitcoin world are not desame strategy, their looking for legit site to invest their bitcoin to make their profit more higher.. don't waste your money to the gambling site,You do not always win at the gambling sometimes more often as a loser.

I suppose Bitcoin get compared with gambling cause of nobody know now what is going in the end. What is going to be in the final - worldwide banning or 50 000 $ price? No one knows and all of us may only suggest and believe in the positive end, due to all of us here on the forum, are Bitcoin holders.
The same like in gambling you invest your money and time in Bitcoin and waiting for the end of the game with you as the winner, so I think yes, Bitcoin is gambling.
bitcoins are not gambling at all because in gambling you can either win or loose money but in bitcoins your money will be completly safe and its also the easeyest way to earn money and in bitcoins there is not even a single chance of loosing money. |

I agree with you, investment and gambling are different but there are gambling games that are using bitcoin. bitcoins is not gambling because in bitcoins your money is completly in risk and you can not predict your future in gambling but in bitcoins your money is completely safe and there is no risk in bitcoins and you can easely predect yor future in bitcoins. |

I can say that bitcoin is digital currency used for gambling in a site but it is not a gambling in a total manner. It is a risk investing in a bitcoin. But if you do your responsibility as an investor it is not going to be like that procedure. |
