I'm still reading the thread, there are lots of advices bur some of them are really useless coins. Ethereum, monero, waves, litecoin kind of ones are good to hold couple of years. Bcash, ripple and ethereum copies are not good to hold for couple of years.

Yup, I completely agree. Hodling altcoins in 2 or 3 years is an impossive mission. Bitcoin has a trong development now and it impact in other coins. ETH, NEO and SONM are my choices if I have to hold altcoins

it seems that the best fit for the long-term hold is Ripple. because the development of Ripple is quite stable. so the rate of decline is quite low. so that long-term holdings can lead to substantial profits and minimize the chances of future risks. so with a long-term hold perfectly suited to Ripple.

For me, this is cryptocurrency market and you need to be holding coins with good fundamentals for that long period. I would recommend you to hold NEO and ETHERUM for the period of two years as they both have a lot of potentials over the long term

I think it's wrong to leave coins unattended for such a long time, because everything in the market can happen and you can consume all the money!
