I think NEO is good but I think rarely anyone is aware of it and always interested in coins that are busy spoken by traders so rarely anyone recommends neo.
Bitcoin addresses contain a checksum, so it is very unlikely that mistyping an address will cause you to lose money.

good options. you can consider a rather conservative version with the etherium or vice versa more risky with for example 0x (I was very much encouraged by the friends of this technology)

Hey guys, I wanna hold some alts for 2-3 years. Can you advise me some? I am thinking about Bitquance, XVG, OMG, NEO....anything else?
There are some good coins in the house.
I would prefer:
Iota, Modum, Valid, Wabi, Sophia TX, Waves and Elixir.

Monero

The currency that solved the problem of the lack of anonymity in the detachment. Transferring money through Monero, you do not have to worry that there will be an opportunity to track who and how much was transferred - the transactions are thoroughly mixed. One of the few truly breakthrough technologies. The coin has appeared in 2014 year and since then slowly and confidently grows, in many respects thanks to the developers, constantly it improving.

I believe that OMG and NEO will give the main profit earlier than 2-3 years.  They will grow, but slowly.  I recommend for a long time -  XVG, ADA, CAPP.  They are now very cheap, but the projects are very interesting.  And if the teams will act on the roadmap, then the price of these coins should increase significantly.

Now the prospects for Cardano, Gonetwork and NEO are the highest. I think NEO is the main and direct competitor to ETH in near future. Perspectives of the etherium are confirmed by studies of specialists in the detachment. He has a great future. I think it's worthwhile to buy the etherium and neo for the long term. Neo has good prospects for the long term.

In my opinion, now a very promising currency are the waves. This project has planned a lot of new this year. If they fulfill all that Plan in accordance with their road map, then the price can grow very much.

My advice is to buy Ethereum. If you are planning for an investment with a long enough period of time should ethereum is a very suitable choice.
We know Ethereum to be a coin that is very attentive to many people with the value of the price that is currently high.
Ethereum is also able to survive in the market Cryptocurrency even become TOP 2.
This is a good coin.

I have a huge portion of anonymous crypto currencies in my portofolio, like monero, dash and deeponion. I invested ages ago in monero and dash. Joined the deeponion community a couple of weeks ago and already quadrupled my initial investment.

I'm still reading the thread, there are lots of advices bur some of them are really useless coins. Ethereum, monero, waves, litecoin kind of ones are good to hold couple of years. Bcash, ripple and ethereum copies are not good to hold for couple of years.

Ethereum is still a high potential for ever-increasing growth. consequently, Ethereum is great for a long-term hold. such as 2-3 years ahead. besides with its ever-increasing development, Ethereum is able to have a high price in the future. so I suggest Ethereum for the long term.

ETH altcoin you are looking for. for two to three years ahead of these coins will be able to compete with the value of bitcoin currently, hence these coins are suitable for investment in a long period of time.

If you want to hold for a long time, i think it’d better hold eth or btc because the great value which can be see clearly, in comparision to btc, i prefer eth more, it become the second to top coin, especially in the near future whem it is potential to get more than 1000 at this year

For holding an alt-coins for a long term is a good decision to make and it can make your investment grow bigger for such time, you should collect more alt-coins from bounties and ICOs.

Yup, I completely agree. Hodling altcoins in 2 or 3 years is an impossive mission. Bitcoin has a trong development now and it impact in other coins. ETH, NEO and SONM are my choices if I have to hold altcoins

it seems that the best fit for the long-term hold is Ripple. because the development of Ripple is quite stable. so the rate of decline is quite low. so that long-term holdings can lead to substantial profits and minimize the chances of future risks. so with a long-term hold perfectly suited to Ripple.

For me, this is cryptocurrency market and you need to be holding coins with good fundamentals for that long period. I would recommend you to hold NEO and ETHERUM for the period of two years as they both have a lot of potentials over the long term

I think it's wrong to leave coins unattended for such a long time, because everything in the market can happen and you can consume all the money!
