If you be patient for a few years and hold some coins, I think you can get great profits. In my opinion, ethereum and neo can be very good picks for that.

Youre correct about the story of the hero granny but cryptocurrency investment is far different to that because buying token with good utility is very important than buying just any token or altcoin in the market which will later lead to loosing of ones investment.

If you want to hold Altcoin within 2 to 3 years. I advise you to buy Ethereum, NEO, and Litecoin coins. Yes, these three coins are perfect for holding in the long run and certainly will benefit you.

It is really hard to decide and recommend what coin is the best and can be hold for a long time since the price of all coins are very unstable and unpredictable.

Since i have earned in ethereum last January and that's even over a short period of time, i have realized that i can get a better profit if i'll keep it long term. It's just timely that i sold it a day before it hits 1.2K$ and i have bought back again when it falls down to 300$. I believe in ethereum's future that's why i am keeping it now for a long term.
