In a metaphorical sense yes altcoins might be dying. But they don't die as long as people want it and buy it. Enough with the FUD, and let us big boys decided by ourselves which coin we are going to invest and hold.
Yup! and Bitcoin is not the reason why they are perishing right now, I think the demand for that certain coins was to small than the number of people that really want to buy bitcoin, but right now as the price increase any further bitcoin is really leaving Altcoins behind but that doesn't mean that it is the end for them, I think it is safe to say that top 5 Altcoins would sure not take a great leap because if bitcoin price boom Altcoins will keep it low and steadily go up in a slow pace manner they will keep it slowly but surely. |

Another trolling again for a coconut shell brain.  Just making fuds again so everyone will panic and sell their altcoins. Yeah there will be some altcoins that may die eventually because nobody are trading it but as long as there's a demand and the coin will circulate in the market that coin will live through. Same goes in bitcoin. |

Altcoins are dying and some will be dead. Bitcoin murdered them and now I want to murder my self.
The future of an altcoin depends on the community itself. If the community of an altcoin is alive, then the altcoin is alive as well. The community I am saying is the investor and the user of an altcoin. If the investor is always investing on the altxoin and the uaer are too loyal to use this altcoin then the life on altcoin will never die. And that is just it. If the community deem it fit as a coin not worth holding for too long or does not really have much support as not much people are ready to buy huge even at dips, then that is what makes the coin relevant or not. Many coins are just there in the market today and I really wish they can just be delisted totally from all exchanges. What they are good for is sharp pumps and they will absolutely never amount to anything. |

Altcoin were too many to die,maybe some alt mah die but it is impossible tgat all of them will lose their value,some alts are used specifically and are really useful to die. That is their market, some have something and plan for the future and the possibility of development and some unfortunately do not and therefore have to go into oblivion. |

Altcoin were too many to die,maybe some alt mah die but it is impossible tgat all of them will lose their value,some alts are used specifically and are really useful to die. That is their market, some have something and plan for the future and the possibility of development and some unfortunately do not and therefore have to go into oblivion. Just normal to think off that coins would either succeed or die completely.It does really depend completely on community if it would gain some support or not. This is why project owners would really launch projects which would really have some real life usage so that people would see its usefulness and might possibly traded actively by it. |

Everyday more and more altcoins are announced. It won't be profitable soon because there are too much of them, unless the very few altcoins which have a great concept and going for the longterm, instead of all the pumpdumps.

the question is when they will bounce back. before that we will see a real bear market... Not very difficult to say. B2X hard fork is probably on the 18th. Alts will start increasing within minutes after fork. But hopefully some shitcoins will die. |

There's bound to be more than just 3 or 4 coins in the long run. Unless governments FUD crypto into the ground, which seems very unlikely to succeed right now. |

Altcoins aren't dying, they are just going deeper than usual because of bitcoin's fork but they will recover soon. However, Recovery depends on the coin and not at all coins recover at the same time. Though there is a possibility that some may not but definitely not all. So hold on to those alts you have and give it some time to rise.
