Guys, I added a new name possibility which encompasses what the new guys want.  No need to split our votes since we want the same thing.

And I added a better mission statement which can be tweaked to be more focused but is better as it better defines what iXcoin will be; and that is, much more than just a western union.

Go vote on these 2 new possibilities so we can close the voting much sooner.  Add or change anything you see fit.

That's complicated. Twice I looked at it and twice I've forgotten it.

iXchange.org might work but I imagine that's taken.

Cause IE doesn't really fit with IX.  It gets confusing and hard to remember.  It doesn't look appealing either.

Someone has To be able to reach Thomas to get that domain.  It's the least he can do after taking off.

I see that you have the i, x, and c merged together in the picture.

I think it looks ok, but perhaps overly complex with 3 letters merged together like that.

XXX is much simpler.

But if its ixcoin, does it really need to have an i, x and c in the logo, is what I am wondering ?

Why even have a letter at all? Does the logo have to be somehow representative of the name of the coin?

when the word ix does not really have any specific meaning that I am aware of, therefore I do not know how to
represent it, other than with an i and x


Another possible issue, is when you try to make IXCOIN ACCEPTED HERE buttons, then the image has to fit onto a smaller
coin, and the details may become blurry, so that ixc becomes more difficult to read. Whereas if it is simply just one letter, non-merged, that may be clearer.
of course, XXX shouldn't have that problem.

Dude, seriously, the xxx idea is played out.

You made your case, not one person likes the idea so now it's time to move on with better ideas and be productive.

Due to the problems with having 3 letters merged together,

therefore I am thinking that 2 letters merged together in a simple fashion like this picture, with a simple dot

over the letter i.


And when making a small 'IXCOIN ACCEPTED HERE' button for merchants, it might show better I think, anyways.

The idea is good but the symbol is unattractive.

Also, these coins, like stocks, commonly have 3 letters:  BTC is not getting in the way of Botcoin.

Friction, you voted for the pale orange logo.  You liked the red one.  We should narrow it down to 2 and  ore on those cause it's getting complicated with that many logos to vote on.  It dilutes the votes.

Let's get people voting please so we can close this down.  There's only 5 votes on there and 3 are the new guy.

So both the gold and the red could be good, as long as they are vibrant instead of washed out and and on black for clarity instead of the weird faded grey thing.

We shouldn't look faded we should look crisp and shiny and clear and fresh.

Simple is always Better but in this case we need the symbol to convey this is a coin; hence the C.


The IXC logo is brilliant - it literally tells the story of digital money.  It has a guy at a computer desk looking at a computer screen and out the other end is the C.  This logo tells a story of digital money.  The coder codes and the currency, the digital coin, the c is the end product, the outcome.

And in the middle is the X which can symbolize a lot of things.  

I love this symbol.  I see other symbolic things which I mentioned yesterday so it's definitely a keeper.  It's of the same quality of a pro shop, it's that good.  And it's memorable and it makes a statement.

I agree.  Let's choose the 2 I posted since those are favored by most and use the same black background and that's it.  And we'll use them on various sites depending on which of the 2 colors looks best.

I'll get everyone to vote one the mission statement and all that, get some website pics up so we can get that voted on ASAP.  I'd like to see this wrapped up in the next 48 hours so we can relaunch this coin with a new website in under 1 week.

I honestly can't tell if you're a real Christian or someone purposely mocking God and Jesus Christ.

Cause your behavior truly is that of someone intentionally mocking God.  That said, what you're doing only damages the name of Jesus and really turns people off toward God due to your erratic, fanatical behavior.

And how many times do you have to post the same exact opinion?  You made it clear you want to join pornography and Jesus and not a single person liked the idea yet you keep going.

You made it clear you prefer an i with an x and not a single other person liked the idea, yet you keep going.

Can you truly not see that you are an irrational, erratic individual?  I find it hard to believe this is possibly normal for anyone and have to wonder if you're not being paid to troll or if you have ulterior motives to troll and damage the image of this coin and inhibit productivity.

I am thinking about that but I like keeping the original dev as the OP.  Not sure why since he bailed but I don't wanna lose that.

But if this kind if thing gets out of hand I will do that.
