Question for luke and friction:

How do you plan to implement and execute things like remittances?  That's a tough business to get into.  You need a money transfer license which will cost about $1 million and that's just the beginning.

I agree IXC can be easily used for such money services but I don't see is, a few guys, with barely any money, being able to execute on that business plan.

We would need a large business partner, a bank or a powerful Venture Capitalist.

So can either of you shed some light on what comes after the new website, new logo, etc.

Thanks.

You do it one country at a time.  You decentralize the process.

You provide freely available exchange software so that any individual in any country can create his own local exchange that follow the specific laws of the country.

I understand that but money transmitting isn't easy.  So what would be first step, and second step.

For example, where is the $1 million coming from for the US license cause in the US you have to license all the states before you can get your license which is why the cost is so high.

I see so many high and expensive hurdles and you guys obviously have a plan so I'm curious what that is.  At some point a very deep pocket investor has to come in.

So who is your deep pocket investor I guess is what I'm asking.

TIA.

No magic here,  it all depends on liquidity of coin.  With BTC, I can buy 1 million USD worth of BTC.... send BTC to foreign country.... receiver gets BTC and sells it on the local exchange for local currency.

If there is little liquidity in the exchanges,  then there is high currency trading risk.  So ultimately, for IXC to succeed, it needs high liquidity.   That only comes through demand....   luke however is spot on that BTC would be a store of wealth, and another coin would be a coin that's exchanged.

 @just_me,

So where are they gonna get the funding to execute on their business plan.  They seem to avoid that question.  Cause you'd need a million dollars to operate in the US.

Otherwise their plan is great.

Friction,

I totally agree that another currency will fill the gap which BTC leaves open.  And IXC is perfect for many reasons.

But my understanding is, before you do all that you'll need a money transmitter license.  And that requires lots of money and connections.  Othewise IXC would become the defacto money laundering coin, and the Feds would never allow it.

Sorry, I don't really know. I haven't read the link that luke posted. I was just commenting because I saw his username, and of course, I remember wselive.com and hope capital. Luke was going to create his own internet currency back then that he named WIX I think it was. Not sure what happened there though. Maybe you should ask luke again?

Thanks brother.  If you're not yet in iXcoin you should quickly buy some.  I feel confident we're going to $10 very soon.

God bless!

yes,  you need licenses on both ends.  That is why you give away the exchange software,  and maybe somehow tie in IXC to the use of the software.  Kind of like say ripple.

In 2007 Ronald Reagan was done for.  But I believe you about the pic you saw but it was probably someone else unless luke is much older and I doubt that.

So my biggest question now is:  Who is Luke Connell cause there is absolutely definitely more to him and his story than meets the eye.

Like I said before, I don't care if JP Morgan comes in here - as long as we have a clear path and everything is kosher I will support anyone.  But just like this coin [from day one] these new characters are shrouded in mystery.

Welcome to the internet eXchange Coin[IXC].  Not to be confused with the World internet eXchange [WIX] currency.

Brilliant!

I have a strong feeling it dwarfs my tiny 3% holdings.

Now let's make some giant waves cause this coin is coiled so tight it will hit my $10 target in under 30 days!

Friction your guess was right - Brilliant once again, brother.  Thomas Nasakioto's intention for the use of IX in iXcoin was indeed for internet eXchange, or IXC - internet eXchange coin.

Now it all fits perfectly.

I can't believe how far off my research took me.  Makes me wanna laugh.

Apart the second part which is free advertising for a coin, what do you think about the first part about Bitcoin. Is the risk real? Is it going to affect iXcoin too?
http://taylorsense.tumblr.com/post/73447014381/why-bitcoin-may-collapse-and-the-currency-that-could

As I said before, I would avoid to rebrand it in XCoin

Have you any comment about the new (in beta test) exchange?

Dexter44 seems to be spamming, for ppcoin which has debatable merits, and also for a new
coin, and new coins often try to portray as though they are better than the coins that came before, when in fact that is impudent and they should get to the end of the line, and let
those who came first go first. How rude.

ixcoin was here first.

I never noticed that, Luke.  Dexter has done a lot of work for iXcoin's image and awareness. A lot more than the newbie, Luke.

Let's get the dot Org site back and get this thing going.  I think people have chosen their favorite name, logo, etc.  we should finish the new website ASAP for the next push.

Possibly any name change may have challengers, and maybe its best to simply leave the name as ixcoin

if that is roman numerals, then it means 9coin

ixcoin = 9coin

I don't know, why was it named ixcoin in the first place? anyone know? I know there is a search engine named ixquick,
and sometimes when I was writing ixcoin I erred and wrote ixquick instead

Well, you folks may have guessed it already, but I believe in Jesus Christ.

Now, you may think that would morally make my next words immoral or even against the law.

But, have you considered renaming ixcoin to xxxcoin

There were 3 crosses on the day when Jesus Christ was crucified, with Jesus in the middle of the two thieves.

Ahahaaa.

Jesus is Lord my brother, but what kind of men would we be if we dishonored His sacrifice for us with the symbol of pornography?

Jesus wouldn't approve of your message, but great imagination, just tweak it to the right a bit.
