I heard that when IXC was at half a penny and BTC at $100. So far all my crazy predictions have come true.  When IXC was at 1 penny about 2 months ago (before all the coins popped) I said it would go to ~$10 within 90 days.

We have about 30 days left.

After nearly a week do you guys know how many readers went to Luke's reddit link?

14.  A whopping fourteen.

Ahahaaaa.

So my estimate of 20 serious current iXcoin investors was actually about right.  Cause let's be serious, most people who own any decent amount of iXcoin and use Bitcointalk would have checked in by now and gone to the reddit link.

And if you look at the tricider [voting] page the total votes there are similar to the 14 reddit readers.

So what I'm saying is we're wasting a precious 2 weeks to get [at most] a few more votes which will likely be in-line with what we have now.  

Unless Luke can elaborate on the supposed unique global media advantage iXcoin will have I say we get to work and not wait for 2 more weeks.

Luke, help us out here; such a long delay makes no sense.

Who changed the logos on the website?

Did we not vote on the best logos, why are they altered or not being displayed?  Who's the rebel?

The logo at the top looks way too big.  And all the logos look odd without the circle (you know, like the coins we voted for, circles like a coin since this is a digital coin) and the top colors and coins voted on are not all displayed.

It would be nice if we voted on something that it would show in the end product.

Cause the way you had it done, friction, it looked nicer except for the stretched logo at the top.

I hate to bitch at people pitching in but we do have to all be on the same page here and it's clear as to what logos are preferred by all the people here.

Hi,

I'm limited on time today however I noticed your comments and visited the site. Whilst I agree that voting has not yet finished and there are website designs pending, having those logos on there isn't hurting it and if anything just gave it a face lift until the community has finalised the to do list. It's a good starting point and gives an example of how attractive and appealing that symbol and logo is. No harm done. The end logo will likely be 23 unless a really attractive website is built for 12 that gives it justice.

That link with 158 views is for the bitcointalk poll.

You're new here so I can see why you'd think 158 views is pretty good in 4 days.  But you have to understand that as someone makes a new post it will bump it back to the top and someone who hasn't seen it will also click on it.  

This doesn't mean 158 people have an interest in iXcoin.  If you look at the number of votes, it's under 10 total votes, which is much more accurate.

To give you a good example; I launched a CrapCoin after my first month here when I had no idea what a blockchain was [and I'm an Economist not a dev] and in 2 weeks my NUGGETS thread had 20,000 views and 2,000 actual posts.  It takes many legit coins a year to do that.  Granted I had a lot of drama on that thread cause I promised I wouldn't censor anyone [and I kept my word], but still, the point is that views for a thread don't mean much


Can you add some color as to how iXcoin will have any advantage when it comes to global media or marketing.  That would put a lot of worries to rest for most of us.

Well, I am reading all relevant threads and links but unfortunately I (still don't) have a decent amount of IXC (just 3k IXC) but I do hope to get more if the price rises and I can convert it back to IXC hence my interest in this.

That was kind of my point. Even people with a few K coins have voted and we're still at under 20 total participants.

The reason is that IXC has a bad rep, that's it.  And for that we just need a new image which includes a new website and some media attention.  Luke is saying iXcoin has an advantage here which no other coin has and I simply don't see it and I don't get why he cannot elaborate on his own comment.

I'm starting to feel like maybe luke is either full of it or maybe he's simply got an agenda cause that's a pretty easy statement to clear up.  But for some reason he wants to keep good news a secret so go figure.
