The premine was more like 540,000 not the 400,000 you're quoting and that idiot dev didn't even give away 100,000 coins.
I only have 50,000 ixCoins and I risked real cash buying it so I'm not gonna give it out while the dev sits on 10 times more coins which he got for free. If I had mined the coins I would feel differently but I paid hard earned cash for it and I don't have that much.
The original dev surfaced around June this year, but disappeared again. No bounty was paid. He may have cashed out. Besides, if you look at the long term chart for IXC, if you cashed out early, you would have made the most BTC. So in short, anyone who held ford the past 2 years isn't really making a lot of coin relative to BTC.
So how do you market make for ixCoin? Maybe I can at least help with that since I have some ixCoins.
You buy and sell so that the spread is smaller between bid and asks.
And I have a hard time believing Frictionless is so gung ho over a few thousand coins he said he had a few weeks ago. Frankly, I'm a bit suspicious and I feel like he may actually be the dev, Thomas. How sick and twisted would that be if this guy had an entire premine while asking for us folks who had to buy our coins to pay for his bounties.
It's just very odd that there's no sign of life from the dev given ixCoin is up 20 fold and the dev now has a real coin with a real future to come back to. But it also doesn't make sense for the dev to come back to a coin which has shot up having to pay a ton of bounties for so why not use a different ID, have zero debts to pay for and in the process take control of the coin just the same while getting other idiots to pay for the bounties you collected with the premine.
I assure you I am not the original developer. In fact, you can check the domain registrations for
www.ixcoin.org (the original one) and mine
www.ixcoin.co (which I registered just recently when the original one went down).
I'm glad for the work being done on this coin but I'm a long term investor and something here just doesn't add up. Thanks for your work frictionless, I hope your investment will pay off and if I had enough coins I too would pitch in but as it is I don't and I am fairly suspicious of you. I hope I'm wrong.
Thanks again for all your hard work on this coin and good luck to you.
Besides, the original developer Thomas for some strange reason, did not have the skills to update the code.
I'm a bit more skilled than that dude. Anyway, the coin is extremely promising, imagine... it has almost 4 peta hash rate!!
My main issue is the apathy of the holders. If I had the cash, I would buy out all asks up to 0.0004 BTC. I doubt there are any big holders, and this is the main reason for the apathy. If these early adopters have no more skin in the game, then that's why they are all silent.
