Gonna be huge for Bitcoin if it's true. Could this be the reason of today slight price rise? Amazon is the biggest e-commerce in the world, we can finally say that Bitcoin is going mainstream when Amazon accepts it. This could be just another rumor but I really hope it's true.

What's the biggest company that accept Bitcoin right now? I guess it would be Steam and Microsoft, right?

Microsoft now allows users to pay for games, apps and content using Bitcoin.
Since the helm of Microsoft is held by Satya Nadella, Microsoft is now more open with every opportunity available. This they have proved by making Microsoft Office a cross platform, released MSN Apps for Android and iOS, etc. Even the openness of Microsoft is now not just in the area of the platform, in terms of payment methods they are now also more open

Still rumors and speculation from various investors but soon as pressure pushes the limit for Amazon management. Soon it will come to reality and I will be more happier if this will be implemented this year. I’m one of they’re client and this will also boost more bitcoin increases if being approved.

This seems to be a rumor, and no official statement has come out of Amazon stating that they have started accepting bitcoin for all services and products. Recently during the price increase too, the same statement rolled out and some believed the price increase above $6000 happened of the same.

Until now it's just a rumor and there has been no official statement from Amazon about that.
But I think even though Amazon accepts bitcoin as one of their payment systems, it wouldn't make bitcoin into mainstream quickly.
As we know some big companies have received bitcoin, but until now there are still many people who don't know bitcoin, am I right?

If ever Amazon will accept Bitcoin i am hoping that i can also purchase EC2 VPS using Bitcoin not only physical products and i also hope that it will not require Credit Card details to be able to purchase VPS. It will be a big help to Bitcoin user if that will happen in Amazon.

That's a great news for the Bitcoin platform. if this news would be true then it will become a great start for staying as a strong part of the market. it would also be a great part of bringing acceptance to the people. I think that type of news would accelerate its credibility for the purpose of transaction and payment. Overall if Amazon would accept Bitcoin then it must be a great opportunity for this system. whatever the case, Bitcoin will dominate in the monetary market.

If this really happens it will be a good development for bitcoin and will result to a higher price on the exchange. And once Amazon accepts the coin more and more companies who do online business will follow Amazon on this decision.

Hopefully it won't take long, not just Amazon. First of all, tech companies on the west coast of the United States are accepting bitcoin. And then all the United States, and then the world. I think. This is very possible! Wink

It is really and indeed a good idea that Amazon and other e-commerce industry will join the blockchain system as payments of their products, in additional to that, this will likely lead into another level of marketing since bitcoin will be easier to use as the number of companies will be able to deal all kinds of business through adaptation of Bitcoin.

Seen from the development of cryptocurrency, it is possible Amazon received bitcoin as a legal means of payment. Because in various big merchants have received bitcoin, let's support it..

It's about time for Amazon to join the trend. Not only Btc but a couple of other coins too. This will add more tangible value to the coins. Instead of flooding the exchanges with it, one can actually trade it for a real good, not only follow coins...

Amazon as an institution in online marketing is a big help to make bitcoin more acceptable and accessible to our  society, especially those who use amazon for daily basis. This is a great addition and might make more price increases in the next days to come. When it comes to innovation and adaptation those who started earn more than those who joined in the end.

Again this comes up??
I still don't think they will accept Bitcoin. If they would, hypothetically spoken, would that definitely be a bullish sign and boost the price another 5-10% at least.
However imo they will stay away from Bitcoin and probably launch their own version of a Blockchain Token they have 100% control of.

Yes, It's only a rumor and I've been hearing it months ago but until now there still no official statement from amazon. I'm just hoping that some big companies will accept bitcoin as one of their payment processor. We can't tell, maybe it will happen one of this days. I also hope bitcoin will recover its value after the fork.

It's not unlikely for Amazon to accept bitcoin because it has become a force to reckon wit. It's like what e-mail did to postal boxes. Countries will soon be accepting as means of exchange. It's no longer new that cryptocurrrncies are becoming the very popular than fiat currencies. Opportunity is part of time. The online marketing Mongol are expected to have accepted for a long while.

Of course amazon will accepts bitcoin for payment I think because of in demand  public request I guess?, And soon big companies like alibaba, ebay will unto to it too. Imagine big companies partnered with bitcoin payments? It will be an easy breezy to us bitcoin users to buy stuffs on the internet without hassle or putting our credit cards, bank accounts, etc. information.
