It's about time for Amazon to join the trend. Not only Btc but a couple of other coins too. This will add more tangible value to the coins. Instead of flooding the exchanges with it, one can actually trade it for a real good, not only follow coins...

I agree with this. Why such companies as Amason shoud stay in a back of progress?

I agree with this and if it ever that this would come to pass then it would just mean that this would be a great way for other companies to look into bitcoin and also start to integrate it into their system. As amazon is one of the worlds leading when it comes to selling and other applications

This is just a rumor so far, but I guess that stories like this are pushing the amazon management to pay closer attention to the issue. I think that now the hype is so high, more and more people are investing to bitcoin and other currencies so most likely next year we are going to see a lot of big companies announcing that they accept bitcoin. This is awesome since the price for BTC will increase A LOT after it will become a real currency!

I feel this news has come before, but it never has materialized, I don't think so that Amazon will do it, cause they have their own cards, plus with the fluctuations, how will they fix the prices, it will be headache for buyers and sellers. Plus Amazon is a global brand, and Bitcoin is a rebel, how will they put it. If they are able to do it, will be the biggest coup and shall send Bitcoins prices to Mars this time, but to early to take a call.

This is a great news for all of us this means we could easily purchase the things that we want without converting our bitcoin into Fiat or sending our bitcoin into our credit card or ATM cards.
I think this also means that some of the online shopper would also use it and they will be come a new investor to bitcoin.

This seems to be a rumor, and no official statement has come out of Amazon stating that they have started accepting bitcoin for all services and products.

Rumors or not though, the implications when that eventually happens are HUUGE. Amazon is one of the top 5 web/tech companies, and their acceptance of bitcoin as a valid mode of payment could be the tipping point that will push bitcoin into mainstream acceptance.

Amazon has taken a really good desicion to add bitcoin as its payment method this will help many bitcoin users to easily pay through bitcoin without changing the form of currency and all products will be available to be purchased with bitcoin. This will also make bitcoin famous among peoples and more and more people will try to earn and use it for there daily need. I never realized that Amazon decided. This is very vague information/ there is still no specifics. It seems to me that Amazon PR on the news. I don't understand how Amazon is going to sell for bitcoins if there is no official recognition of the currency. Saying that this event should be held on 26.10. but I understand that not today. When that happens bitcoin will rise to heaven.
