have anyone open a dispute yet on paypal? i sent him $400 via paypal gift over a month ago. it is still under paypal refund policy 45 days. i am not sure what are my success rate on it if i open a charge. can anyone please guide me?

I'm filling out the small claims forms now... If he doesn't come on in the next few days, I'm going to start the procedure (verifying his address, having the paper delivered)... I really hope he doesn't turn out to be a scammer.
I'd like to go that route as well. Can someone PM me the personal details, please? I've filled out every part of the form except for his address... I'm waiting on John for that information. It's probably easier for me than for you, though, as I'm in the same state as him. It's literally one form (you don't even need a lawyer). |

Yes. You can say it was "unauthorized" with paypal, even if it was a gift. Although, that does technically count as fraud. Not sure how far you guys want to go to get your money. |
