Honestly I think this is done and OP should be marked scammer.  Paypal people are the only ones who got refunded because they're the only ones that could actually reach out to paypal and possibly make a claim.  What I also don't understand is all the money that was sitting in the BTC address and why the orders were under prodigits7 knc account and not regz.  Too many red flags and lesson learned but I don't count on getting any refund or seeing any dividends come Oct.

Whos in charge of this now then, still the OP? Are we getting refunds or whats the story?
I think there's some confusion about the refunds.
The way I see it, the only people getting a refund are the people on the unfinished and unordered Jupiter#2.
Everyone else: Your miner is ordered and paid for. You can't just chicken out now because you don't like OP.
Maybe, if OP agrees and KnC gives him all his money back, but otherwise, we're just going to sit this out.

Be a fucking man.

Are you kidding me?
OP can't even take 30 seconds to reply to this thread, so you think he's gonna take the time to calculate and pay everyone's dividends on time?
And you think people are gonna sit around and watch their money go down the shitter?

Maybe if someone else takes over the group buy then I'll be happy to wait it out, but until then, there's been too much negligence shown for this to be viable anymore.

"Be a fucking man". Why don't you let people decide what they want to do by themselves without ridiculing them into staying with this trainwreck?

+1

@physalis: Wanna buy my shares, brave man?
This.  I'll sell my shares to you, too, if you're feeling like a MAN!

I would still like a refund, be it from ragin or KNC i do not care, this is a complete joke.

We all know how easy it is to just login and post anything, working a keyboard doesnt require that you are 100%, its no excuse really. Desppressed or not this guy needs to take the reigns of the farce once again and either press knc for refunds or refund us out of his own pocket.

I couldnt even sell my shares in this GB becuase he wouldnt login and transfer the ownership of shares. This is going nowhere!

One more day without a post from ragingazn and ill be asking the admins that he gets a scammer tag. Either I get my 6BTC back or your reputation goes down the tubes OP, your move.

I'm not buying any of your shares, lol, why would I? I'd like a refund too.
But contrary to you delusional crybabies, I know I'm not entitled to get one.
If OP is still planning to run this project as planned, he has absolutely zero obligation to give anyone his money back.

I hope OP is an honest guy and either
a)gets his shit together or
b)tries to get the money back from KnC and refunds everybody.

Actually, per FTC regulations, we are...

It's easy... Everyone in the spreadsheet wants their BTC back. We "just" have to figure out the set difference of people in the GB who aren't on the spreadsheet (GB / SPREADSHEET). They can keep their orders, i.e. that amount of Saturns/Jupiters stays, all the others get cancelled. If a miner remains half full, those just have to be reimbursed or we have to draw the lots who stays in the boat.
But the people in the spreadsheet basically could/should simply go for a refund.

I should have gotten into Bitcoin back in 1992...

Well I have to agree with him. Seemingly no one else does.

You can't participate in a group buy and demand a refund when the order is already made, that's not how this works.
We all should've done our research before we entered this mess, but we can't all pull back now, especially now we know that the order has been made.

We can only demand a refund if KnC is willing to refund the orders as well.

So, danieldaniel, that's why I was asking about the conference call. I think it can be helpful if you try to reach out to KnCMiner again, together with Prodigits, to try to arrange a refund from KnC.

I think we all want to leave this GB, but there is no reason why we should be able to to so as long as orders are made and OP doesn't change the original plans.

No, we are not. By FTC's mail order rule, you're only granted a refund if the company fails to ship within the stated timeframe.
KnC says they'll deliver within September. So we're only allowed a refund if we haven't got any machines by october.
And any other regulation would be completely stupid. What company would start production based an pre-order money if they have to be afraid that people can just pull out whenever they want?

And aside from that, the FTC has zero say in this, since KnC isn't located in the U.S.

Serious question, can OP be considered the "company" if the machines aren't up and running by october-ish? He could get the machines on time but not start giving us our shares until later than he promised. If that happened, we'd be entitled to a refund, no?

The FTC has jurisdiction as long as KNC does business IN the US, which they are doing (and regardless of that, raginazn is located in the US).

Second of all, read http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/2010/09/your-rights-as-a-consumer/index.htm.  They have to ship internet orders within 30 days, or earlier (if they said that they would ship it earlier).

Also, this: "If the retailer has a reasonable basis for not getting your order out on time, it must obtain your consent to the delay. And if you don't respond or consent, the merchant must issue a refund."
