Hello

Unfortunately, my miner today has a lot of hw erros and the 3 chain shows only more 54/60 chips Sad

Request for help I already have one
Perform reset and firmware update unfortunately made no success.

Thank you

Kind regards

Stefan

Happy Christmas and a happy new year.

Happy Christmas and a happy new year.

Try a reboot
Lower the frequency on the hashboard that miss the 6 ASIC´s
or give more voltage to this board

Hello everyone
I am very new to mining, like very new and have some questions
So, I tried to ask in another thread and was adviced to ask here

I am looking for a way to overclock 19.3 Gh/s batch D3
Temperature so far is not a problem for me as I could find the best possible environment temperature (about +1 to +3C), so fans are running between 2900-3100 (#1) and 3800-4000 (#2) rpm, Temp(PCB) 43-45C, Temp(Chip) 61-63C (How it happened I described in
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2205172.msg26834405#msg26834405)

Now I wonder how to overclock D3? And what is the possible Max frequency?
Is there any other limitations to overclock  D3 except for temperature?

Hello again guys, With the new beta update, im having a trouble, I was tweaking a few settings, and then I could not see the status page correctly anymore, there is no information at all as u can see on my screenshot. The miner is working and I can see hashrate on the pool tho, strange, any help on that ? or is just because of the beta branch ?
https://image.ibb.co/jKOk4m/haaalp.jpg
How long did you wait for the machine to start up before checking or refreshing the status?

Waited enough Sir, don't worry also tried Rebooting machine didn't work but going back to the Stable Version worked and my status page is back so I guess its clearly a problem with the new version !

Happens on mine also. No need to reboot. Just refresh screen - might need to do it a couple of times. Or go back to config and then back to status. But yes - it can be sketchy!

v2.04 beta :: 22/12 :: test version

Download:
https://mega.nz/#!ulYlTB4D!nEymzPvujO17EXa95q9_oRHAQOxZUZvxu_bulZ8_wUA

Changes 22/12:
- reboots the D3 on high temperatures (> 85 deg PCB temp). This feature will save your unit in case your fans will fail.
- improved auto tune algorithm stability
- Increased the chip starting frequency of the autotune algorithm for higher voltages.

Changes 14/12:
- fixed auto recover from xxxx
- cleaned up kernel logging
- a bit more aggressive tuning
- tunes down faster now when too many HW errors are detected

Changes 13/12:
- Totally rewritten code base, based from latest available bitmain / cgminer sources
- ASIC's now automatically recovers from xxxxx errors without restarting (The auto reboot options are still in there in case it doesn't succeed)
- blazing fast mining status overview in the webinterface Cheesy
- as requested: the dev mining starts later now (after 5 minutes)
- as requested: dev pools status is now visible in the miner status

Important: The autotune feature is not completely finished and the startup is a bit slow now.. Therefore I need your help. So what do you need to do:

set your advanced settings the same as displayed bellow
let it run for at least 20 minutes
PM your (complete) kernel log
By doing so I can get to a conclusion what the starting frequency of the auto tune algorithm should be.
In case you want to help more: increase the voltage a bit and do the steps above again as it will give some more information

Thank you!

Soft 12/10.
Voltage - lowest
Freq - 400mh
APW3++
Power consumption at the wall - 1600W  Huh why  Huh how  Huh

Your meter is incorrect / defect. Looking at your temps and fan speeds the power from the wall is roughly 700 - 750 watt I would say.
For the idea: At 1600 watt / 100% fan speed you will see 80 - 85 degree chip temps at least. At your fan speed you will see and smell smoke at 1600 watts Wink

hi blissz..

my chip become not enough chip for chain 2 and 3.. after a few reboot or reset.. chain 3 disappear but hashrate still can be read..
chain 1 have no problem with 60asis chip
chain 2 and 3 only have 54chip and a lot of hw error..

i flash with recommend version.. only 1 d3 become like this.. the other is good run

Review :

*Before update to blissz it run excatly 19.3 ghs for 1 hour average with 0.0026% of error

*After update to blissz
First I use all default. The chip automaticly run with 537 mhz, 13v of voltage and temp 75c-84c which is not really good but acceptable resulting the miner runs with 20.05 ghs for 1 hour average. I got 1.78% error and 1.5% firmware fee so 20.05 ghs - 3.28% = 19.39 ghs which is not good but not bad either.

If you think Im done with this.. Well no, I push it further lol

*I push again to 550 mhz, 15v and temp 84 75 84 and the result is good. It run 20.55 ghs without error (0%), with fee 1.5% I got 20.24 ghs which is not good, its FANTASTIC !!!

Dunno If I can push it again but 84C is already -1c from temperature safety. Any suggestion ?

so you basically increased performance and had no errors and with lower performance you had errors? am i correct?

just asking because i cant really get no errors or even few errors on one board, i get like 2-3% error and it's only on one board others are good

Weird but yes. Almost everytime I restart the miner, it ahows different result and this is the best (dunno if I restart it again). After almost 5 hours mining, avg speed is 20.6 ghs with 0.0013% error, I dont know this is much or not.

usually i have 2-3% errors, % of amount of errors you have is nothing

Yes, you do. Accept some HW as it's not any problem at all to have some. My personal preference is to have roughly 10 every hour (per board) as that means you're on the limit which is good.

What percentage does 10 HW errors per hour amount to? Currently, I'm trying to stay under .1% errors. Is that too low?

This topic is about D3 not L3.
I guess blissz can not help because he does not own L3.
Some general suggestions: try to keep cold the device. Stop and clean all fans.
Try to reflash with original firmware and if nothing helps contact bitmain support.
