For now, have another look at the information kimoto is desperately trying to hide:

Notice how almost 10 days were of coins were created on the first day alone. Now consider the fact that this coin was launched with a horrific looking logo, and without source code, to deter miners. Who do you think mined the bulk of these coins? None other than kimoto himself. The difficulty chart supports my claim, as the difficulty only rose to 0.03 by day 2. This very low difficulty could only be maintained if there was a very low hashrate. This low difficulty persisted for a week until the source code was released. Kimoto lined his pockets with millions of megacoins, and has somehow tricked you into thinking this coin was launched fairly. Very clever on his part.

This is all publicly verifiable data pulled from the blockchain. Investigate, and you will come to the same conclusion that I have.

I think it is a good thing to have another voice opposite my/our general bullish sentiment of the MEC coin.  We should welcome the thoughts of the opposition especially because it comes at such a low price.  

It is a bit pathetic to see someone selling/marketing their services to create these clone coins and getting paid by others to so called 'teach them a lesson.'  Once again, we have to learn from the bottom to avoid it.  Kids, don't do this.  H, cry yourself to sleep tonight and then do as one poster says "buy 25,0000 and get on board."  You are not a little boy because a little boy has possibilities.  You are a parasite.  If you don't know what that is, use your vast blogging and computer skills to discover what that means.  Like most parasites, you have disclosed your intentions via your previous actions, you are not to be trusted with anything.

- Three mining servers
- Identical boxes with 16GB RAM each
- All running Windows 7 64-bit
- All running AMD driver 12.8
- Two machines have dual 5970's in them separately (no crossfire)
- One machine has a 6950 and a 7950 in it.
- All running CGMiner 3.4.3
- All running CGWatcher latest version

All with similar settings except obviously some differences for intensity, thread-concurrency, etc specific to cards.  All my cards have custom firmware with overclock settings so not in the cgminer.conf:

scrypt: true
gpu-threads: 1
worksize: 256
lookup-gap: 2
thread-concurrency: 8000
queue: 1
scan-time: 60
shares: 0
expiry: 30
log: 5

I've had issues solo mining via a Windows client with multiple machines as well, just FYI. 2 machines was fine...but beyond that things would jam up. Could have been an easy fix (I'm not sure)...but I just tossed everything in an Ubuntu VM instead and haven't had an issue since.

Its already been concluded by the resident thread experts that it is not possible for there to be something up with the windows client. It's your hardware at fault

All I'm saying is check the usual suspects before blaming the client. We had a cheap Asrock MB running 4x 7950's with a 1500w Rosewill gold supply. It would just stop mining every few hours and require a restart. Didn't make any difference if you were solo, or pool mining. Swapped the MB out with an MSI, the problem was immediately solved.

I have the exact same issue with one of my machines on an ASRock -- 5x7970. Sometimes it runs for a day before requiring a restart...sometimes 5 minutes. I was blaming it on a ghost driver issue...so wiped and reinstalled xubuntu...set it all back up...same deal.

I'll try swapping out the mb I guess.

It was funny, because we had recently read a review saying this was a great MB for mining setups. It simply was not stable with more than 3 cards. YMMV...

We use powered risers, and also swapped those out. Never tried the EVGA Power Boost, but we did try running them all at low settings which should have eliminated any chance of it being a power issue. Yeah, Cryptobadger is an excellent site. Been there many times.

In the summer when it's 100F, it isn't the best mining weather.  It was a long, hot summer... The extra air conditioning makes any hope of short term profit impossible. It still hits 90F in the day now, but we are getting into the 40's at night. Who needs a fireplace when you have mining computers.  This winter I plan to heat my home mining MΣC.

Can get as cold as -40 C in the winter (which, according to google, is -40 in fahrenheit as well. Curious.)

I have the same problem, My miners have been off all summer. This spring when It started to warm up I was greeted with a 600 dollar power bill. Most of it AC to keep them puppies from melting down. Hardly profitable.
