Downloaded block chain no problem and am on track. Very pleased by not only the effort; but, the caution in holding the release until everything was done right (Frankly I don't understand why anyone would be concerned with a couple days wait).

Thank you.

I am pretty glad they didn't release a broken interim fix all my precious bottlecaps are safe!

Might I suggest you gather a list of nodes from The Block Crawler provided by Petr1fied

http://bottlecaps.kicks-ass.net/peers.php

Block Crawler updated to BottleCaps v1.4.1 and I'm now only listing connected peers using this version.

Good Job on the v1.4.1 BottleCaps release! All in sync without any issues with the wallet.

OK. Lets start promoting BottleCaps to the masses before the Global Financial Apocalypse really hits.  Shocked

BottleCaps Free Web Proxy: http://bottlecaps.cc.ai

Hosting BottleCaps-v1.4.1.zip Download Link: [Link Removed]

EDIT: Hosting BottleCaps-Windows-QT-V1.4.2.zip: http://bottlecaps.cc.ai/download/BottleCaps-Windows-QT-V1.4.2.zip

Its a bit of a random free domain name, but the proxy hosting is really good.

Enjoy!  Cool

Yep verns pool is off and away. Took some with him that hadnt updated yet. He updating here soon and with his hash power we will take over that chain soon enough

Once he updates to 1.4.1 we will all be good

I really hate to say this but I am running the new client and still got on a bad chain. I downloaded it, deleted everything, put in the nodes and all looked good. Just now I checked and I am showing block 75430 which is off by quite a bit.

I closed the QT and restarted it and now it showed 187 blocks remaining but was not moving. Now trying deleting the directory again and re-downloading the chain.

Any ideas what is going on?

Update: I redownloaded the chain with a clear directory and am now stuck on block 75442

FWIW my IP was on the list at http://bottlecaps.kicks-ass.net/peers.php until pretty close to the time it got stuck and then dropped off.

I just used the two from the post and am synced fine at the moment. Will probably take a bit to overcome the old clients out there.

Yes I just used the two from the post synced fine and mined multiple blocks for several hours....and then seemed to get kicked onto a new chain....am redownloading now.

Not sure a redownload will help. I just did so and am now showing synced at 75446 which does not match the explorer.

What peers did you use?

The two in the fist post, the .14 and .100

I'll try using connect instead of addnode and see if I get past it.
