The Bitcoin network protocol was designed to be extremely flexible. It can be used to create timed transactions, escrow transactions, multi-signature transactions, etc. The current features of the client only hint at what will be possible in the future.

I'm gonna say it'll be within the next two weeks.  Tons of recent news has brought the legitimacy of Bitcoin up big time, including everyone at the Senate hearings stating that it was legal to use, various Subways accepting it (and hundreds of people using it there), and now a University in Cyprus accepting it.  Many people sat on the sidelines, waiting to see if Bitcoin would be outlawed by the US government.  It is pretty clear that isn't going to happen now, and those people are going to start jumping in.  That money will hit the exchanges over the next couple of weeks, and we'll easily clear $1,000, if not much more.

Yes and there is much more in it!

It did technically hit $1000, however denominated in yuan.  But it stands to reason if the proper arbitrage opportunity were present, it may have hit a real USD1000

Do you even mine?

After hearing about Korea's plan to fund their own exchange, I have no doubt it'll cross four figures sooner rather than later.

There is still high possibility to see under $800 if big dump happens. As $1000 happened already at China exchange, I guess goal is done

I wanted to make sure that my BTC address comes out as I just changed it and I am sure given the current economic climate that BTC is going to move very steadily.  We just need to get all the old fogies out of office in D.C. and get some new techno-blood in there!   Cheesy

Assuming it stiii exists, it HAS to because the dollar is constantly losing buying power and the difficulty is rising constantly.

Yes! Who da' man??  :-D

850 out of 1000. Seriously, how long could the last step take?

But last steps are hardest sometimes...

Based on what?

If it reaches a $1000,- personally I think it won't be the last step, but we'll see.
