One thing that is for sure is that it will not stay at $1000. It will either get traction with the general public which will raise demand and thus the price. Or it will get pushed down by government regulations or scandals.
I believe better exchanges are necessary if Bitcoin has to go much over $1000. It is still very complicated to buy BTC now

If all your friends and colleagues, and all their friends and colleagues had bitcoins, then it would probably be very easy for you to buy some, regardless of how good or bad exchanges are.

With USD inflation, BTC has the possibility of getting up there, but its honestly just a matter of time. 10 years, I could see it being at 1000.
Bulvers, looking back at your post from June, where do you now think the price will be at in 10 years?

The truth is almost no one realized $1000 possibility at the end of 2013 back in June 2013. Seems long way after April crash and stable price...

No one thought in September that it would reach $1000 before 2014.

Why? just my gut prediction.. i maybe wrong. i am a noob. So not based on any particular analysis of supply, demand, usablity, or intrinsic value? You just like the sound of the numbers $500 and $1000, so you've decided the exhange rate will stay there because the exchange rate wants to please you?

BTC is going up because the news outlets are reporting on it saying man loses 9 million throwing his hard drive away that attracts people. The more news coverage BTC gets the more people know about it the more that no about it the more that start learning about and using it, therefor the price increases because the more rarer BTC gets the more people will want it. They say the year 2150 I think it will be much sooner than that I think the creator/creators didn't expect people to have TH/s of power.

You clearly don't understand how Bitcoin works. It doesn't matter it people have Gigahashes, Terrahashes, Petahashes, or Exahashes of power. The difficulty adjusts automatically such that blocks are solved every 10 minutes on average. The block reward is cut in half every 210,000 blocks. Since there will continue to be approximately 144 blocks per day (52,560 blocks per year), the block reward will continue to be cut in half approximately every 4 years. As such, it will take until approximately the year 2140 before the last 0.00000001 BTC is mined. That's just the way math works. You can't change it.

If true, in 20 year only the access code to your bank account will be in the DNA. The money itself would be managed by a centralized institute based in the USA (even if you're European).
