Hell, I am not even sure what the "issue" is... (other than no HW additions and LR's "change" to the original, agreed upon terms)

and... please don't say the issue is a "legal problem"... nothing specific, means nothing at all...

Yah, I could take 10 BTC for an in hand cointerra, then stall on shipping it due to a "legal problem" ... which could be that the license on my 2nd car is expired ... or I'm ratarsed 24/7 and over the limit... or that the post office is next door to a school and I'm a registered sex offender... or that I was arrested in Florida 3 1/2 years ago and still on a curfew...

This is getting ridiculous...almost a month and still no solution from LabRat; not even a clear communication.
I will contact the SEC end of next week, if there is still no meaningful reply from LabRat.
Lets see what they say...

A better course of action would be to consult a lawyer to discuss your (our) options.  I suspect the first step will be a threatening letter.  LR isn't going anywhere, so no need to involve the SEC just yet -- doing so would almost certainly shut down the operation with little or no chance of recovery.

Re consulting a lawyer, I suggest at least two people based in the US work together to take the lead on this.  There's little doubt you will get the full support of the other shareholders.

Lab Rat -- it has been an awfully long time since you promised a proposal from you and your lawyer.  You need to provide the proposal or at least update us on timing (setting a firm deadline -- lawyers deal with deadlines all the time, yours should too).  Right now we all think you are hashing with new hardware and not sharing proceeds.

@lab_rat can you at least tell us if new hardware has been delivered/is hashing etc even if you can't tell us what will happen with regards to the dividends from said hash power? As one of your quasi-recent posts suggested your relationship with coinseed had ended, what does that mean with regards to ongoing orders of cheap hardware and low electricity costs?

So let's set a date before we appoint some shareholders to take actions. 11th April? This endless waiting is worthless, things may get worse as we have no info.

Shareholders are already having discussions but as you can imagine trying to get a dozen people together at the same time from many timezones slows down the process. Nobody wants to sue LabRat but it seems like this is our only way of getting full disclosure at the moment.

Right now, these reasons are just as valid as anything we have received from LR or LRM.

Jody from BFL said in her blog that BFL Monarch's should be shipping very soon.

What would better?  LR hashing with those Monarch's or selling them upon receipt and splitting the proceeds among the bondholders?

How many Monarchs do you have on order LR or did you get a refund?  Did you upgrade and get free 600Gh Monarchs?

Where is the BitFury gear?  Why has Dave had > 1 PH for 2 months now and LRM has no new hardware?

What other hardware did you pre-order?

These should be easy questions to answer.

I know, but the SEC is the cheapest solution and as long no one is willing to engage a lawyer or LabRat finally offers a answer, the SEC is the only solution.

Things don't need to be completely "settled" yet to let us know what is going on... People asking for information pertaining to the announced change in our collective, original "terms" is a wholly responsible and legitimate request. Defending the LACK of communication from LRM and denigrating people for asking for information is not the way forward here...

Lab Rat and his lawyer have already been working on this for "months", according to Lab Rat.

All they have managed so far is to unilaterally amend (impose?) the new "contracts" on us "contract holders" (which happened almost one month ago).

A line has to be drawn at some point.

How long before we are deemed to have accepted these new contracts?  We are being paid weekly (in ever decreasing amounts based on the new contracts) after all.  Is anybody refusing to accept the dividends?
