At least they seem to be the same files others have downloaded and checked quite some time ago:
http://www.isthisfilesafe.com/sha1/959ADED69D3D010B970906CDFB0993146811570A_details.aspx

The win64 hash is mentioned here in the original post:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=255782.msg2724425#msg2724425

So it looks like the files are genuine.

I doubt it, just check the volumes on the charts. Somebody is pumping XPM hard, only in last 24h bought over 80.000 XPM on MCXNow only, not counting other exchanges. It's unsustainable tactics in the long run, probably classic pump/dump to get quick BTC profits from the move.

It's not that simple. Check out the crypto coin market cap list. ALL the altcoins are up, and some are up much more than XPM.

What's going on ??

Where does Primecoin store it's copy of the blockchain in the High Performance windows client?

For those wondering: Your User Account -> Appdata -> Roaming -> Primecoin

Is XPM still more profitable than Protoshares?

Why you say "still"? Since the day Protoshares lunched XPM was always less profitable.... Until I would say a few days ago. In my opinion its finally more profitable to mine Primecoin again. I switched all of my miners to Primecoin.

How I've earned 0.088 BTC for making few forum posts on LetsTalkBitcoin

We've added Primecoin support to CryptFolio (thread), so you can track Primecoin address balances and exchange tickers, which will be available through our historical archive. CryptFolio helps you safely keep track of your cryptocurrencies and commodity currencies over time, and generates reports (such as the overall USD or BTC net worth of your portfolio).

I really wish the Primecoin CryptoCoin Explorer wasn't implemented so poorly. It's the worst HTML I've ever seen.
