That's why some of us are here...for the huge potential this stock/fund has is.

Handled right it could be one of the big three, handled wrong...they drift into obscurity.
(But the spark of potential is definitely there.)

The biggest factor with all these funds is getting the real goods out of prototype as early as possible.

Maybe this is short-sighted, but I'm not really concerned about BFL at the moment. They seem to be a total laughing stock and while they'll still likely sell some hardware, I think their time in the spotlight is coming to a fast close.

BTCGarden has stated they are moving forward with their hardware....they just aren't going to offer an IPO for it anymore.

Cointerra are 28nm, but are making some crazy claims that I dont have to much faith in re hashspeed per chip
ASICminer are currently 130nm, and looking at 65nm
Labcoin are also 130nm, and from what I have heard not looking into going smaller
BTCGarden are also 130nm
Hashfast also making crazy announcements at 28nm

If ActiveMining can deliver on time, they will definitely be in the best position of them all

If I'm up-to-date, the skepticism surrounding the other 28nm chips with such high hashrates is in heat management, is that right? I also recall someone mentioning something about signal interference, but I didn't understand that.

When are we expecting the eASIC announcement?

Not a clue.

I'm trying to lobby for consistent weekly updates over in the Speculation thread. I really think this would remove a huge amount of the FUD that's been plaguing both ActM threads, as well as provide shareholders with more confidence.

We're not talking Creativex-level updates, just one each week on a certain day - news or no news.

Im pretty sure the question is internal signal interference. Vbs can explain it far better than I can

vbs is your man for that kind of answer.  He suggests that it beggers belief that so many people are investing into these projects willy-nilly without actually understanding them and doing their homework.

The claim that a massive chip is able to consume 350 watts is dream-land material, so I hear.   And as a man who draws over 500 watts gaming on two AMD cards, I can see why.

In this case heat dispersion is a major factor.  Not to mention power draw.  If companies like AMD & Nvidia spend hundreds of milllions on R & D in order to tweak out the best competitive benchmarks, how on this planet Earth is a Bitcoin start-up going to out perform them?   These are nothing more than bold claims that some btc mining companies are making with their 'super' chip designs.

Uniquify, HashFast Ink Agreement to Produce ASICs to Increase Hashing Speed for Bitcoin Miners

geeks.broadwayworld.com / Aug, 13, 2013; 10:38 AM

SAN JOSE, CA – Uniquify (www.uniquify.com) today signed a multi-year agreement with HashFast Technologies to design and provide silicon fabrication services for a new generation of application specific integrated circuits (ASICs) expected to dramatically increase hashing speed for Bitcoin miners.

Under terms of the agreement, HashFast Technologies, a pioneer in custom designs of ASIC chips for cryptographic hashing, will use Uniquify’s technology for the production of ASIC chips for cryptographic hashing.

The strategic partnership between HashFast and Uniquify, a leading high-performance semiconductor intellectual property (IP) and system-on-chip (SoC) design, integration and manufacturing services supplier, is poised to move HashFast to the forefront of the cryptographic hashing industry.

Can you post some previous work that Hashfast has been involved with?  Are there any major companies they have done work for, such as hard drive manufacturers?  Just curious, I'm interested in putting some money into this but I haven't really heard anything about "hashfast" other than its name.  I am curious as to what they have produced rather than what they are "going" to produce

In my world that is deplorable.  In my world that should be a crime.  You need to be removed from these forums and the sooner it happens the better.  Unless that is, you can explain your actions.

This is not a personal vendetta, but I am no longer willing to accept that someone is able to get away with this behaviour simply because they think they are anonymous.
I feel a duty of care to fellow contributors and iCEBREAKER has comitted a crime which he is accountable for.

It's not difficult to recognise precident when we look at those who have been prosecuted for lesser online crimes.

Maybe they're waiting to release the past month's detailed financial summary as an update.

Either you own the bitcoins(private keys) or you don't. However with moneroj, nobody knows what you own.
