We have 6 devotees, but only 1 can receive the GOLDEN BLOCK OF BAT SHIT CRAZINESS, enfused with 666 sacred goodness.

The spirit has told me to pick the 6th digit of the hash of the 666th Nugget block.  So who am I to argue about hex to decimal conversion?

block 666 hash is:  ae55f40baa9f463d749e9fa44b8e478c0cfbae64d023e9f8277bd9ae2c7dbd3e

6th digit of the hash of 666th block is: 4

The fourth devotee to post an address was:  twobits

Twobits, congrats!   666 steaming coins of bat shit craziness are now on the way to you.

I don't want to be picky but as the genesis block is block 0, technically the 666th (God be praised) block is block 665, not 666

Highly ironic Vlad thinks that "Litecoin offers ZERO to anyone" when it actually saved the small miners with GPUs. I repeat, it saved small miners.
Grin

Long post but I think it's educational on a number of levels.  Took me an hour to write so maybe I'll post it for coin credits.  If people think others would get something from reading it.  I hate to write this much just to get an opinion out but this touched too many sensitive nerves so I couldn't stop.  I bolded the more important parts for those who hate long posts.

I used scrypt instead of SHA256, but only cause I was forced by the miners wishes which now I regret cause if my coin had been killed I would have saved myself a lot of pain, trouble and money and if it had made it and these clowns stealing it, there would have a good chance I could have relied a 51% attack and had their stolen coin killed, but now they can steal my coin in peace - I wonder if they wanted scrypt for that reason all along cause none of their arguments in favor of scrypt over SHA256 made any sense.

LTC Saved the small miner?  Ahahhahahaaa, you're pushing it a bit.  Actually, today, that's absolutely false.

When I found about bitcoin and saw I had no way to compete I went for Litecoin.  Went to fry's and had them build me a special 8 core AMD 8350, dual AMD RADEON 8750 GPU's miner with the high end Samsung 8400 (I think) pro SSD drive and the best wifi card, best to the next, the AC card was double, back ally a nice high end $1,700 desktop made especially mining..  But this rig i guarantee was above the usual small miner rig and guess what I made with it. Jack and shit.[/u]

.3 LTC or $1.30 in 24 hours at 600 MH (after some tweaking I was getting 400 MH at first).  I joined the best pool at the time and it took me 3 full sleepless nights just to figure out how to download everything and get it to mine.

So basically I was making barely more than the electricity on a dual GPU rig like that with a 1200 watt power supply will eat at least 500-800 watts.  It was a joke.

So a top rig which any small miner would consider a prize would have made a whopping $40 per month and this is after Litecoin jumped from 50 cents to $3 per coin?  This is a big reason why I designed the lottery Golden Blocks into the Nuggets coin to give the small guy a chance cause hitting just one or two Golden Blocks could maybe be enough to upgrade to a much better rig where without those golden blocks it's hopeless.  And no, I never heard of super blocks before that and I doubt they work on a lottery system to give the small guy the same edge I designed it for, but that's just a guess.

And you're telling me Litecoin saved the small miner?   You must think the small miner are the guys with $5,000 to blow on a starter rig.  That's a joke.  To me the small miner is anyone who struggles to come with at best a $2,000 rig and with a $2,000 rig Litcoin won't make jack shit for you.  So much for a litecoin saving the small miner.  You're better off mining the smaller less known coins in large quantities and waiting for them to hit the exchanges like BBQcoin did.  Cause there's no real money to be made in litecoin for the small miner which is the majority of miners and that's why I badly wanted to make a coin in their favor.

Scrypt did 2 good things, but those are gone so Litecoin is p, like I said p, played out and a pile of horse manure. Those that got on scrypt the first year made some good money and 2) it divided the crypto world in half so the difficulty in bitcoin was muted or slowed down which helped everyone mining bitcoins.

But that is not anything amazing.  The small miner is still shut out today, mining is still a flatline, dead, boring hobby or job, there's no real innovation, no vision, no sense of urgency nobody seeing what the true potential is here.

If I could tell you my ideas which were deemed too ambitious I promise you that you would see Litecoin as grandma's miner and a real backwards and outdated POS.

I don't know why talented hackers and programmers lack imagination.  I'd burry litecoin if I had the money to pay a graduate level programmer or a top hacker that can code anything in my head.  I promise you, people would abandon LTC in droves.

With all their money.  A market cap of $50 million, a brand name they can't figure out how to get that coin off the ground or how to get it to $10?  What a joke.  Problem is a programmer is probably running Litecoin.  Can you imagine the Woz as brilliant as he was a a true genius running apple?  That's what a joke Litecoin is and if I had a real master programmer I truly feel I can leapfrog Litecoin and just like people are stealing my coin now which I think is a crapCoin at this point, no coin would ever be the same after that, mining would never be done the same, every coin would need major hard forks overnight.

We're in phase one and because the millions haven't come in neither had the real talent and what is in my head now will happen but its too bad is small guys can't do it and the bankers and millionaire developers will come and rule the alt coin world cause they're ran by business and economics types not engineers who know nothing about the real world or style or consumer behavior.

It's truly tragic seeing the biggest opportunity of my life at my fingertips and I'm powerless cause I don't have the necessary money to buy what I lack, true programmer talent and sufficient bounties.  And I mean, world class talent, not just like a bachelor's degree.  I have a BS in Economics and a BS in Business: Finance with a cumulative of 3.8 (with no books) and my economics GPA (which is ranked separately) was a 3.9 and if I'm honest with myself it truly angers me and fills my heart With fury, immensely so - that I feel literally inadequate and nearly incompetent for my knowledge and understanding of economics and the world of finance is basically and honestly dog shit.

That's the truth and I was the guy who never had money for books, always worked long hours, never took school seriously even remotely so, in fact i saw it as a scam for idiots with money, but I needed that POS piece I'd paper to show how smart I was - always crammed before a major exam and wrote 30 page term papers literally the night before and turned in the rough draft as my final paper and 9 out of 10 times I'd get an A or the highest score in the class and never a C in finance or Economics.  So I was a natural for economics yet with a Bachelor's of Science i can say with utmost certainty - I don't know nor understand shit.

It makes me wonder what the guy with a 3.0 understands or is their lack of sincere self observation and honesty or lack of understanding so muted that they don't even see how little they truly know and understand?  So for that reason I need either a gifted programmer self taught or not or a guy with at least a masters.   It's not personal, I'm simply using my personal educational experience to judge the level of understanding of someone with a BS degree, which is at most a rudimentary starter program.  And that's why I got a second degree in finance, I thought it would fill in some blanks and it helped some on a micro level but I was still basically a near 4.0 Finance and Economics idiot.

And I went to a business school ranked 14th in the world and most of my Economics and Business finance teachers were PhD's from Harvard but most were utter idiots, unable to excite you about their very own passions or make you understand complex matters vis self and unique experiences which to me meant they had at best a shallow understanding of the subject matter but who dares question a Harvard PhD.  Well, i did, i simply and nicely disagreed with his absurd theory and explained how it would be impossible if extrapolated and instead of convincing me cause the truth is easy to prove this idiot PhD told me:  "Shut up, you're stupid."

My response was, "a truthful theory would have required less energy to prove than what you just proved to me and that is you're propagating sheer lies to fulfill your communist agenda, and I can disprove your Maximum Tax theory in under 60 seconds but you will not allow even questions for mere clarification let alone a rebuttal", and then i calmly walked out and dropped his class since his grading was all essay tests and papers which means pure subjective grading and he would have destroyed my GPA with a C which I never got in Finance or Economics, cause even One C, in your major courses, shows you lack understanding.  You'd think these fraudulent, blatantly Communist, biased teachers graduated from a community college.

Only one teacher, also a communist or socialist rather, but very fair and unbiased, A Brit from Oxford and PhD from Harvard amazed me with his knowledge and understanding of the world, I loved that man for the priceless education he instilled in me and I've had a deep seeded desire to somehow repay him with something equally valuable but I lack such things in my inadequate world, and even after all these years, my heart is genuinely saddened by the thought and not knowing, if I'll ever get a chance to truly thank him in a worthwhile fashion before he passes, but my lack of gifts are not from a poor worth ethic, effort or risk taking - timing and chance have simply never crossed paths in my life but i truly believe this alt coin revolution is exactly that (and this is no confirmation bias) but now I'm missing the funding which just last year I had plenty of so once again the timing is off. But I could listen to Professor Grant for a 4 hour long night class and not wanna take a break or go home, the more he spoke the hungrier I felt.

And he was a notorious tough grader but that's what Harvard PhD's should be, but most are clowns but like all things in this make belief world, nobody can see past the $5,000 suit, the $250,000 car or name-brand college diploma for it takes a fearless sincere character and true honesty for one's eyes to pierce the veil of this worthless material world and see the priceless immaterial, invaluable qualities in the realm which lie beyond this facade surrounding our very minds, a mere hologram for the sole purpose of testing and refining  the human heart through fire, just like pure gold is tested and from a dirty stone arises something beautiful and priceless through the testing and refining power of fire.

One may call this fire the troubles and pain of life but if one cant live through the tremendous heat and not turn dark and evil then that very painful fire will burn off the impurities of the heart giving rise to the gold buried deep inside the wicked human soul and this is the sole purpose of this spinning rock we're living on in my opinion.  As for The rest of these PhD professors, mere shallow muppets who couldn't even adequately answer my questions even in my freshman year.

But with programming there's an X factor - a guy who really gets programming (is wired for it) can be amazing, a true savant and I know an 18 year old in my old city in Europe with no formal training but I don't have time and money to go see what he can do first hand and hire him - this is why you get 15 year olds hacking into NSA. While no 15 year old ever solves things like the ABC Conjecture or solves the world's economic issues.

Mark my word, LTC is doomed caue their leadership is DOA, their only saving grace may be the coming alt coin craze which should come 2-3 months after the successful launch of the Bitcoin ETF, early to mid next year, but that will only last about 1 year until 3,000 new alt coins jump in to satisfy demand and do you think these guys will know how to maximize that opportunity for optimal effect if they don't even see this coming even now when it's right there while I saw it 3 months before anyone uttered the words about an ETF.  If anything, things are actually moving faster than even a perceived nut like me predicted, not slower.  All of this will be completed before President O. finishes his term.  That is the change but no hope he promised, it was a telltale which I saw them but I didn't realize then it was about digital money.

Therefore amass any coins you can and do NOT sell at the first wave which 80% will cause they'll see $100,000 in their accounts, that will be only the beginning - wait and you can make millions and the coin founders can play it in such a way that they'll start real crypto-stock companies but most will have no idea how or what that is and that year will pass, the supply will meet demand (supply/demand equilibrium) and the alt coin prices will crash hard and fast and the poor unsuspecting Winklevoss twins will be fall guys.

My Money and the remnant of my reputation says this ETF idea wasn't theirs, they're being played by the state cause people love to hate them and they will make perfect scape goats when the bubble crashes after people switch from real money to crypto-currencies ( and all this will happen in 2-3 years, max 5 years)  instead if the govt who is giving a legit trading derivative license to basically pac-man coins to allow them to trade on wall-street next to gold ETF's.  lol, you can't make up such unimaginable stupid things that will come true, I'll put my remnant reputation on this against all the MBA and Harvard PhD's in the media and walllstreet who literally laugh with disbelief (and technically rightfully so) and say it is a sheer impossibility for the US government to give Bitcoin their ETF license, and I can't wait to see if I once again out-thought and out-visioned the guys with 10 times my education and experience level.

Save coins now, all the ones you can get, sell a few when the first wave comes so you can get a taste and then wait for the froth and when everyone you know is buying an ASIC and every idiot who can't even use PowerPoint is now a miner, that's when you dump it all.  And i Think this will catch fire like crazy and you Will start seeing this kind of mass Adoption in the next 12-24 months.  Thus, these small and newer coins have little time to develop a strategy and execute it, yet they act like they have a decade to chill and wait.  Nobody seems to see nor understand the scope and need for a crypto currency on a global level.  How foolish.  This is the Internet bubble 2.0 only it's gonna be bigger, faster and way more inflated.

This message was approved by the Vlad Golden Blocks and it is given for free to those who have ears to hear.

Good luck and God bless everyone, even those I hate and wish I could transport them back in my Golden Block time machine back to 1941 and put them in a Nazi labor camp for a good 2 or 3 years just to make them a bit more humble and develop their shitbag character (cause mine is obviously better).  Then again, I'm half Jewish so they'd probbsllu smell that half, reward my enemies for bringing me in, let my enemies go and throw me in the labor camp. Man, see, you gotta think things through,  especially when it comes to Inter-galactic space travel or especially time travel, like my plan to let r3 in my coin, didn't quite think that through.  lol.

Moral or the story:  school is for the most part for idiots with money to blow so they can become even more arrogant.  LTC is a POS (proof of stake but piece of shit) coin with no more value to small miners and with all their value and talent of programmed they have done NOTHING for the ones who made them rich, the miners.

A new coin will rise and will empower the people.  I tried to design such a coin from the ground up but didn't have the necessary programming skills for the full job and even now the best coin feature to help the small guy isn't working.  If my coin was a copy (like the haters keep saying) of a super block coin or a lucky block coin why then can't the best programmers here get it to work (by a simple cut and paste, why is it so impossible to do a cut and paste?  Sorry, but it's obvious to me the Golden Blocks have original value and innovation and so far the best programmers here haven't been able to program it to function where the super blocks were an easy launch.  If that's not proof of the Golden Blocks having new features and innovation then you want me to believe that the best programmers here can't do a simple and cut an paste job like is regularly done to launch any new CrapCoin.  That's just not possible.

Let's see what happens - I want what's best for the miners and for myself of course but it doesn't seem the miners care enough to support that one coin which will be loyal to them even after the money is made.  Cause most coins like all corporations, once they're rich they'll take a piss on the little guy and that's something I hope to God I will never do.

Good luck to everyone!

You guys have gone mad.  I should have just used the idea Fibonacci numbers and not God numbers since they're the same thing.  Man, I invited this mockery of God.

And why are people posting their wallet numbers, I have zero coins?  I'm trying to buy some but I can't pay much.

I gave away all 1.57 million last night so please stop posting your wallet numbers.

Thanks.

To all the God mockers I prayed for a miracle, something big to halogen in 3 days.  There's 2 days left so I hope God will at least shock a few or you and maybe, just maybe silence a few if He decides to show me some mercy for making some stupid things like trusting a total stranger with the repo files, and giving away all the coins and now I have no bounty money although that may have been a good thing to do but it's hard today since I'm feeling hopeless now which makes the idea of having no coins for bounties feel like a stupid idea.

God listens to prayers of people trying to do the right thing and in my case I may have done some stupid things which is my only worry I won't get a miracle in the next 2 days which means an unpleasant plan B.

Anybody wanna buy a coin?

Joking, that's not an option, that's plan Z.

What do you mean.  Most small miners will not spend more than $2,000 on a mining rig and the most they'll make is $100 per month (on LTC alone) after electricity and so it would take nearly 2 years just to get their rig money back.

So where am I bad?

You're telling me most small miners have a budge of $5,000? That's what you need for just a half decent money making operation and I'd like to hear from smaller usual average miners, what's your budget for a mining rig.  I seriously doubt most will be over $2,000 which mean they're locked out of LTC AND Merge mining is their best chance which is why I wanted SHA256 for my coin but instead I event with all your votes.

So lets see some votes.  How many average to smaller miners have a budget or have spent a budget of around $2,000?

And how many thinks a smaller miner or even average small miner has a budget if $5,000?

Lets get the truth from the people and see who knows nothing, you or me, I'll readily admit I'm wrong if most smaller miners here say they're gonna spend $5,000 on a GPU MINING rig.

I'm not talking ASIC here, we're talking scrypt.

So lets see some votes please.

Holla back!

There are a number of places this machine would be considered misconfigured as a mining rig.  The most glaring one
is in the key component of the gpus.   You wanted 7950s for LTC mining.

Jack and shit.

Oh man, you can't be this bad at stuff.

No he really is that stupid.  See Vlad doesn't believe in knowledge, experience or skill.  Vlad believes you just do things and then you winz.  If you don't winz then it is someone else's fault.

Another wonderful post!

Go, Vlad, go! Kill Litecoin!

Didn’t you say you already had contacted a genius PhD programmer? Can’t he now help you keep your promises?

Perhaps that programmer took seriously what Vlad has said and really tried to code stuff what's in Vlad's mind...

TL;DR

With ASICs coming and without litecoin, small CPU/GPU miners would be mining around 0.000001 BTC a day

Does someone know why r3 doesn't post here anymore?

Moving* this for the intense OT. It'll take hours clearing through this mess.

Please make a new thread on this *coin if you're serious about this.

Thanks,

Yesterday I thought I will quote gems from this thread in single post, but a quick calculation revealed it will take at least 1 year to do that..

This thread is permanent candidate for lol of the year.

On a side note, is there any thread available which lists best entertainer of bitcointalk  ?

Cheers

I don't want to be picky but as the genesis block is block 0, technically the 666th (God be praised) block is block 665, not 666

The Lord works in mysterious ways!   Check out block 665, it has the hash
d580da4f1e79a8faced10dd90eaa33f648f5a171ca38d3db15de14c5ff61c37a

and what is in the 6th place?  The 'a'.  What is 'a'?  The first letter of the alphabet, number 1!  What is 6+1?  7.  What is the 7th place of the hash?  It is 4! Just like before.   God knows all!

oh, and I guess were OFF TOPIC now Wink
