I don't think it die easily as that, and people just turn and walk away, and lose their interest, this is not gonna be happen, for as long as there is people invested in it, using it, patronizing it, it will continue despite its high and low condition because if it die all other coin will not survive either.

ETH and Litecoin will replace the bitcoin if BTC died and there other cryptocurrency which is accepted widely.

Bitcoin is the main currency of cryptocurrency that is why it is considered the highest value. Given the situation, if bitcoin gets out of the picture I think altcoins will still be around but we are clearly knowledgeable that altcoins have a lower value than bitcoins and when bitcoins does reached its limit I think that the only thing that will be running is selling of the currency it will rotate to different people making its value more and more expensive because of its scarsity.

There doesn't have to be any correlation between whether BTC is alive or dead, and the value of other crypto coins.

Different crypto coins might have entirely different uses in the real world.

The thought of bitcoin dying seem a mirage to me. The conception of it is really not giving much to be talked of. Although, nothing is impossible but if that is to happen, it would lead to total crash and extinction of cryptocurrency because bitcoin is looked at as the number one and traded on because of its high value.

So, if that happens, it will kill the market entirely.The  best to happen however is to have different competing cryptos as we have ethereum being looked at, then, we would have a stronger crypto market because competing brings in choice. It makes business healthy.

People will not lose interest in crypto currencies even if bitcoin dies. The advantages of crypo currencies over fiat currencies have been experienced and people will not want to go back but will look for a similar alternative.

  yes i think so because a friend of my was telling me that he is far more interested in extensible blockchains like Ethereum or Waves. that is far more easier to use.
