I don't think thats probably like to happen. If bitcoin dies, we are all sure that other cryptocurrencies will fight its way to make it to the top and to be named the next bitcoin. This will be more of an opportunity for other cryptocurrency to replace bitcoin. Though bitcoins loss will have a big effect on the other crpytos market, developers of it will probably make way to revive its coin. There are other cryptos in the market that will probably stay and will focus to makes its coin increase its value.

For the other altcoin to invest in, i will say Ethereum and Litecoin, and look up for others that have potentials as well..
