Already 100 pages in this thread - eHealth First community is growing everyday! I think bitcointalk is better way here, this is the best way to understand project.

I think we will be in here in 2025 discussing the latest details of ehealth:)
This is a very long time.... it is not known what will happen with cryptocurrency, but I want to believe that everything will be fine! For the project I'm not worried)

considering how complex the project is I wouldn't be surprised that we still discuss this in 10 years.

Reading through the information available i found out the project is going to use Graphene as a base blockchain to store the data

Here is some info:
https://objectcomputing.com/resources/publications/sett/march-2017-graphene-an-open-source-blockchain/

http://docs.bitshares.org

can you explain me how this effects the project? I really don't know

At a certain point the token will be swapped to coins when the block chain is ready to handle the data. This will be used to store medical information to serve the purposes of the platform

Well, if this keeps going on and gets enough traction, the sheer size of this project will be discussable for more than 10Years. I these kinds of technology the development will actually never finish as there will always be new developments. For this I'm pretty sure this is a very long term project imo.

Totally agree with all of you. It is such an important thing and on bitcointalk you can read others opinion to topics. It is very interesting for all of us and of course also for project members

My question however is, why would i trust the "second opinion" of an online professional over that of a doctor WHO ACTUALLY EXAMINED ME in person?

Why would you Google search when you can visit the library? You know books are written by experts whereas websites can be published by anybody and are usually second opinion too.

You can take both, there is no this or that. The AI makes a suugestion and the doctor says, agree or not agree.
It happens sometimes, that a doctor dont think that you could have this rare tropical disease, but the AI could make this suggestion and the doc. could say, yes this has to be investigated.

Think of all the people in third world countries who might be able to eventually get easy access to the internet, but can't afford or don't have a nearby doctor.

Do not only think of the personal benefit but for the whole medical field. Sure nobody will trust a 'machine' over a human. But today, at least in my country, my doctor has to mail my personal records to another doctor if i'm changing my doc. Or the new doctor has to build the medical history for himself from ground up. This is due to privacy regulations but when I think of a blockchain with all my medical data, which I can maybe just export and bring it to my new doctor or even just share them with my doctor if he is also using eHealth First - this would be awesome. And, like I said, you could look up the blockchain for similar sickness and maybe find a better therapy which you did not know of yet. It has so much potential!

As I sidenote on this part : people in third world countries should get more medical help in any way possible... this project could be one of the sponsors.

for third world countries it is a big chance to improve the health system. But also in all other countries there is the posibility to improve. And urgent needed.

The expectation for this project is great precisely because it is something related to health, many people feel the need to implement such projects, and after the regulatory buzz, this is becoming closer to an early achievement, and fills the EHealth investors of hope

Its a very challenging project, if somebody could pull this off is the team behind it. Is the main reason i have great expectations.

I think the only difference is that you can pay goods and services with coins, and the swap token-coin will be automatic and painless for users.

Does they have some partnership with some hospitals or clinics? And in which country if yes? Medicine is very conservative niche
