why thinking on single coin to invest when you can segregate your capital in different coins so if other dumps.others might pump.or much better if they pump all together.the best thing here is you will have other option for you long term plan..i suggest that put 40% in ripple coz thats your initial target,and put 30% on bitcoin for sure profit ofcourse..and the other 30% would go in some coins that might get your interest.

The best strategy was always the distribution of funds. There is the best way for long-term investments is to use fundamental crypto currencies such as Btc or Ether. Litecoin is also a good coin, so you can divide into three parts, invest and hodl.

There is no 100% safe coin out there.. However BTC and Eth is relativly safe and very stable i think.. Most of the experienced people advised to invest half of our money in BTC and invest other half in Altocoins.(Eth,Neo i suggest)..

yes and i will say that there is no good option than bitcoin and these days the price is also very low compare to the price of 10 days ago. If you are able to buy 1 bitcoin and hold it for the next year you will earn more than double for your investment, because the price in the next year will grow more than 30k and I think it is a good profit against 1 bitcoin. Don’t think a lot and go ahead to buy bitcoin.

As of the moment if I have that $12,000, I will hold it first then wait for the reversal of the trend. Almost all of the crypts are on the downtrend position maybe because many investor was seen last December. January was profit taking and it very volatile this month. One coin can lose 50% of value in a matter of days only Ex: Bitconnect so if I were you I will hold first the money and look for right timing.

I think that It is also right that if you split your money in different crypto because if one drops the other will rise and you will be safe. But if you invest in one currency you may lose your investment. The top three which are the best to invest in. bitcoin, Ethereum, and litecoin or ripple. That's a lot of money. And if you want to invest better in bitcoin than altcoins. That's just my opinion. But altcoin does not mean bad, rather than investing in litecoin. Better to invest in ethereum. Because ethereum is potentially long term. That's all my advice.
