Which is a safe coin to invest in the long term? How long should I hold it? Is there a risk that I might lose it all? I am a noob in cryptocurrencies. Help. I was thinking Litecoin, is it a good idea? I think you have to invest in BTC & ETH. cux it's perfect for long-term investments.

Investing $12000 is quite a large money and I'm sure I will gonna invest half of it to bitcoin so that all I gonna do is to wait for the bitcoin to rise up again and increase it's market value so that I can be able to get back my investment in a short span of time and gain profits at the same time and I will also invest the other half of it to a food business which I have been planning years ago.

In connection with the state of coins for now and this large dump, now you can not be afraid to invest in the most promising coins like Tezos, Ripple, Kaber and Omisego!

Well if I only have $12000 I would surely invest it all in bitcoin just like all of my friends did who are also into bitcoin and not just only bitcoin but also all of those cryptocurrencies out there, I'm sure if I will invest it all in bitcoin I think I'll gonna get it back in the short span of time. Bitcoins market value might go down for some time but it is really proven that it also arises back gaining all the investments that you have lost.

It means long-term, but how long is your long-term? One year, three years, or five years? If it is not practical for more than five years, it is best to give yourself a three-year plan. If it is three years, it is recommended that you half in bitcoin and half in ico.

Yes, I think LTC is also pretty good. But I more prefer ETH than LTC beause many ICO are based on ETH. So I think ETH is more popular than LTC.

Yes there is a risk you could lose it all. many have lost 50% or above since last year. so be prepared for that. to combat this you can spread your 12K around 5-10 coins. also depending on how risky you want to be you can choose popular coins or unknown coins.

You can invest in several projects. I invested some part in ETH and BTC (year ago), now I invest in projects with real product (food, chemicals, hardware, etc).

I personally bought some BTC and ETH not long ago and now thinking of getting ARN, PKT or MTX. Judging from the statistics they are looking pretty good. Could be mistaking though, since I am a newbie

First of all, you should know that investing in cryptocurrency is very risky. There are no paper works to sign, so you should be ready if everything goes wrong. Second, you should realize that $12000 is a lot of money. Make sure that your ready to lose that amount of money if something bad happen. Lastly, you have to study it carefully before you make a decision. If this is your first time, invest in bitcoin just to be sure.

Which is a safe coin to invest in the long term? How long should I hold it? Is there a risk that I might lose it all? I am a noob in cryptocurrencies. Help. I was thinking Litecoin, is it a good idea? I would invest 60% in ETH and 40% in BTC. I think this is the safest coin. And by the end of the year the profit will grow several times.

If you do not want to make a research and learn the basics information about cryptocurrency I advise you to invest in something that has at least some stability.
I think the best portfolio for you should contain only the coins from top 10 and 50% of investments should belong to Bitcoin. Other 50% divide between tokens such as Litecoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Nem, EOS, Iota, Cardano, Stellar, Monero, Dash.

Dump it into Zilliqa or NEO, these both have outstanding long-term potential. Check back in a year and you will likely have quintupled your money as the very least.
Also, Ethereum and Bitcoin are solid bets, as they tend to weather the storm better than other cryptos due their positions at #1 and #2. Might be best to hedge some of your funds in these to split the risk.
