I think that the safest way is to invest in Etherium or Bitcoin, there are always still risk to lose it all in crypto but it is very very low.

Litecoin is a good choice to invest but the more you will invest, the more you might loose. So, I'd recommend to split up this sum of money to make an extra profit and decrease your risks.

I would advise such coins: Stellar, Neo, Ripple, ETH, Bitcoin Cash. But half better to stay in bitcoin just in case. And do not forget to take profits once every half a year.

I recommend investing in altcoin in the top 20 coinmarketcap. Litecoin is one of the growth potential altcoin, it is capitalized at 6th coinmarketcap, it is also worth to invest. However, I advise you not to invest all your money into just Litecoin because the risk will be higher. Instead, you should buy a few other potential altcoins like Ethereum, Cardano, Monero. I believe that long-term investments in these altcoins will bring us much money in the next few years.

I think the best way is to invest 50% in Bitcoin, 30% in Ethereum and the rest of money in top 10 coins.

You have good amount for investment.I advise you to split your amount in this way.
20% You should go for XRP,NEO,ADA,IOTA,WAVES.These are rapidly growing coins.Engage in these coins for short term trading and reinvest your profit amount into BTC & ETH,it would be very wise strategy.These coins are also pumped up by some good projects and prices are increasing day to day. so it is my opinion , i hope you agree with me

There are a lot of great coins. You can buy almost all from top 50, But only BitcoinCash (it's a shitty one)

Buy bitcoin, buy ethereum, then buy some good altcoins like monero and litecoin which have a good chance in the long run. You can also buy into an ICO and see how well it works out for you. Just make sure that the first coins you buy is the top coins. Don't stray out of the top five coins because they are the safest options for you if you do not wish to put your money at a lot of risk

$12000 is a big amount to invest but I would suggest you to invest 2000$ each in six coins so that your investment will be diversified. First of all do yourself some research of top 10 coins from coinmarketcap list then decide what is best for you.There is always risk in any investment. Invest that you can afford to loose.

I think qtum is a nice project, qtum portrait in depth potential, i always believe all coins with their own personal mainnet . i felt they are less risky to gamble with. Qtum also boast of leading blockchain developers.
