I know everybody is probably going to shoot me down in flames, But since yesterday something has changed, I'm no longer getting the hash rate I was, I've dropped at least ten percent overnight, I checked and double checked all my settings and temperatures , Reinstalled all mining apps, Tried every config i ever used and also the older versions of apps to see if I have lost my mind, But no , I have lost ''AT LEAST'' 170 Kh/s overall since yesterday, Its actually reporting less on my PC than i was getting yesterday, I cant see how it is possible, Everything is the same.

Queue everything is fine for me comments in ....Three ....Two...One

You have major configuration issues, and looks like you are losing cards or the whole rig constantly. Middlecoin stats show big averages, takes a long time to catch up. If you aren't stable, it won't be stable.

It's where I've been shutting the miner down to change settings, It was all working fine untill a power cut, Now both cards aren't anywhere near the amount they was working at before, Somebody said before its impossible the cards would be effected and not be broken, But I cant see how they would be hashing fine one minute , And the next I've lost well over ten percent of my hashing power, In any miner I run.

They were running at 1.77 Mh/s in Multiminer, Now only 1.61

It's doing my head in, Now I am reinstalling Windows to see if it helps.

And then what happens when payouts are average? H20 isnt so great ? Loll poor guy... H20 keep it up,,, I dont know you and they say not to trust anyone in life . No offence I dont know you to trust you, but my payouts are coming in so I respect it.

Just do us all a favour, as tempting as is it maybe be, 1% extra out of each member can pay for your credit card... Just dont. lol Just dont! Once you loose the trust its all over...

Your doin well as far as I can see so keep it up and dont let the $$$ take over your mind,    $$ is evil and can make even blood kill each other

Noob question... When I try to run either mdc or mdc2, it gives syntax errors on closing quotation marks for some reason.  for example in mdc2, the syntax error is on line 54.
print "    %s:\t%.2f mBTC = %.2f %s"
What should I do?

Power cut? uninstall all the vga driver with Atiman, then reinstall them. see if that works. Smiley

edit: did not see you are  reinstalling Windows, but i would try just the driver first.

This might be the most retarded question in the world but how do we run it? I downloaded and installed python for windows. Saved the mdc.py in notepad (yes correct file extension). Then created a .bat with the instructions as per the readme:
"python mdc.py Wallet USD"
And it just opens cmd prompt and rapidly closes. Thanks

yes and try opening a prompt and running it from there first before adding the .bat step to make sure everything is working
